Agreed. Think the Erl nano is better than the Kompact kayfun

The great thing about the Erlkonigin is that it is considered one of the best flavor and reliable atties of all time and has been around for several years now so there is a TON of information and vids about the atomizer and how to coil/wick it for best results.

Toolman Texas, that's lovely! I still haven't bought a Erl Nano, LOL. Rainsong's experience makes me kinda glad I didn't. The husband is leaving shortly so I will be logging out and attempting to coil my Hussar in a bit. Haha. I'll be talking about the results, I'm sure..... Sadly, my ceramic wick hasn't arrived yet, so I will be in wicking hell for a time, I'd imagine. Guess we'll see....

Soooo, I just got to see what the inside of a Jac Series B looks like...

Thanks to the erlk vomiting overnight.

I'm thankful I was able to reassemble Jac and it seems to be ok.

User error, of course, but I'm not sure I'm on board with an atty that has such finicky wicking. I don't find it to be superior to the kompact kayfun so erlk is going to live in the "whelp that didn't work out" pile.

Oh no... :(

I had massive leakage from the FT ones, but the Tobeccos have been sparkling and dry-clean. Is Jackie OK?

It's really NOT! It's simple, quick, easy, and FUN!

Mmm hmmm. o_O ;)

Oh yikes, Rain. :( I'm sorry to hear that, and it happened to ME, too!! I think my first Jackie was less than 24 hours old, and I woke to an enormous puddle everywhere. I just can't recall which tank it was (will ask DPL if he remembers), but I'm suspecting it was a Wine (great tank but true leakers).

Twas a Wine, indeed. A favorite of mine (for flavor and vape experience), but one that I know will be leaving a mess. Always (like the mentioned DigiSiren too).

Jerry Lee Lewis was a Mohel? Who knew!

:facepalm::laugh:

I think I've heard that LOL.

I can pull fantastic flavor off the Doggy but as we all know, these darn things are so subjective and so, so many variables.

An ECF member did some tests with cotton, rayon and silica. Silica placed dead last as far as wicking goes. I'm on the fence with ever using it again.

You can get rayon at a beauty supply store. It is used for perms in salons. Someone can step in with what kind to get. There are a couple but one is what we use for vaping.

I might revisit it later but it's definitely in timeout for now  Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to double check when I pull it out again.

I had some better luck. I did take the heavy shoulders and thin tails very seriously.

Me too. Simple "wisps" down each side. I almost threw the thing against the wall when Kat first talked me through wicking it. I actually swore and told her that I was sending mine to her (which turned out to be a lie).

Then I vaped it.

Oh mammamia - my taste buds, they liked it.

This thing changes my game some. Not giving up the REO but, as I gave the Provari to my daughter, I am giving some thought to the JAC. You all have talked about it so highly, I am thinking - and now my head hurts. Memo to self: don't think, you don't do it well.

I love that setup!

Is Jackie OK?
Jackie is ok after her exploratory surgery. I was kind of freaking out seeing juice behind the buttons and didn't know what to do, but realized the only way to make it right was to pull out a screwdriver and get in there and clean it up.

I do love my Jac, I reach for it ahead of everything else. Seems to be most comfy with a shorter, lighter tank.

between here and there
I am in need for some 510 pins for a subtank mini base. Seems i have a couple that are too short to make a contact with a tank. Not sure how that happened but can thank FT for that. Anyone have a link to a good resource?
