@listopencil , check this one out Authentic IJOY Capo Squonk Box Mod 20700/21700 - Black
As for atty types, there are a bunch coming out now. I like the unaltered Vicious Ant Cyclone v1 (not the AFC version), the Origen Little (FT edition ;)) Chalice 3. My most favorite coil for flavor and a good cloud is the tricro coil.

Thanks! I have a mod (Kangertech Dripbox 160) but that one does look pretty cool. I'm looking around for a nice atty. No rush, I have two that I can use. I just know that they aren't exactly top of the line and that eventually I'll want something better. I'll check those out.

*Upon Edit: My only complaint about this mod so far is that I tried TC with a nickle coil and it was funky. You can't set the Wattage in TC mode. So it uses all 160 Watts to get up to temp. I can feel it cycling through on/off in an odd pulsing pattern and it puts me off a little bit. I'm used to using lower Wattage in TC and having a smooth ramp up.

With the odd on/off pulsing maybe if I used stainless steel instead of nickle? I haven't actually built a TC set up. I just slapped a tank on the thing to test TC and it had a nickel coil. I've heard that stainless steel takes longer to heat up so maybe it will give me the ramp up I'm used to.

The TC on the 160 is pretty wonky, so far the SS coils between 0.25 and 0.3 ohms work best for me. The Drip box 2 is better, the Theriot is superior (at a price).

It's not a huge downside for me because I like Wattage, but TC would be nice while squonking for when I forget to squonk. I like the idea of setting it low enough not to burn cotton on a dry hit.

That is pretty much the reason I like TC on a squonk mod, kinda wish SS meant "Squonk Stupid! " not stainless steel, that way I'd get it!

Heh. I have given myself dry hits and I've flooded it a bit as well. Could be a learning curve, could be senility, but if I get the right equipment I'll never have to find out which one it is will I?

Nope! The DB2 will still give you a slightly dry-ish hit, but it's more like a strong throat hit than anything. With the DNA mods you will notice a drastic decrease in vapor before a hint of a dry hit. As for flooding/oversquonking....we all do it now and again, just not so often.

You are absolutely correct. And I've tried that but then the leg is a little crooked. I'm just weird that way. I'm looking for ones nice and straight like this one

For the last couple weeks I've been trying out an Ego One (small windowed one) with the vertical one ohm cl coil. It's not bad,a tad airy compared to a KF-lite and the coil lasted about a week. When the coil got used up I rebuilt it,I reducedthe inner diameter of the rebuilt coil to tighten up the draw (~10 wraps 28g kanthal 2mm inner diameter @1.4 ohms) and put a KF-Lite drip tip on it.The rebuild/drip tip tightened up the draw somewhat and is an improvement for me.

I think I'll be using this atomizer for when I go out and about as it's much, much lighter in weight compared to my KF's.The KF's/Pico in my pocket feel like they're pulling my pants down LOL.Next time I'm in the vape store I'm gonna see if they have any CLR coils,if not I'll be getting some more of the CLs as they're not really too hard to build after they've been taken apart once or twice.

I'm giving the Ego One/Egg Roll Two thumbs up !!!

FT has plenty of CLRs on the easy-peasy.

When I need a quick "oot and aboot" tank - eGo ONEs are my tank of choice. I don't build vertical coils, but these things are so delightfully easy to redo..... Just sayin'
