I want my new flaaavvvors to get here!!! Man, I saw a Fed ex ground truck exiting our neighborhood and I got all excited, then remembered I didn't buy any nic (win!) but I am just DYING to play around with them.... This morning was too busy and slightly traumatic to do much of anything when I got home. Oh, I'd mix now, but I really WANT *all* my new flavors....

Well, I have 25 60 ml bottles arriving and 17 flavors (this includes a sweetener). I'm going to amend some mixes that I still have, and I've been doing a lot of mixing of flavor profiles in my tank, so As Many As I Feel Like, I guess.... I really don't use any premade recipes, honestly, I find that.... unsatisfying, and so I bought some flavors, played, mixed, wrote things down, mixed more, wrote things down, etc. I have much more complicated plans, though! I mean, I've READ a lot of the recipes, but just like with cooking, I like to learn and read, and then give my imagination free-reign. Except for baking. I have found that baking requires a precision level that is not ANY fun. Flavors are more forgiving... It's just like cooking for me, except that I'm using additives, not ingredients.... I will be fixing an Orange Crème that just Sucks, and sweetening up some stuff, making a decent coconut (I love coconut) and I have some clear Chocolate flavor that I hope is fun, as well as a bunch of fruits, dessert flavors, some tarter stuff in some of my favorite ETOH flavors, brandy and whisky and whatnot. Who knows what will transpire, but I'm sure it will be Fantastic. LOL. In either a good or bad way, but I think I have my feet under me, now.... So, as many as I have energy for? Most will have 2 or more ingredients, though....

Sounds like you are becoming a master mixer.

I am happy of I can make something vapeable and not just drain cleaner.

Interesting...I too consider myself a good cook but I'm a terrible Baker...Much like you I tend to build on a basic recipe and make it my own...A chapter in my Cook Book that never got written was "How To Not Follow A Recipe" ...I can't tell you my recipe for "Chili"...Because there isn't one...But I never make a bad batch either !!!

So here comes DIY and I've become a Baked Goods Flavor Fiend...I don't have to follow a recipe and simply layer flavors together as I would in any "Melting Pot" dish...PS...The Bear Claw Is Delicious !!! ...I can't wait for the report on your brewing adventures !!!

Hiya, fellow tootle puffers. I've been in court all day on a jury summons. I was hoping to show up and be able blow it off and then found out that we're sitting for a multiple murder case. Yikes. So I got to sit around all day being secluded and guarded while watching the jury selection process via closed circuit television. They're asking pretty much the same questions of potential jurors on Offense and Defense so I'm torn between faking up some outlandish answers to get out of it or answering truthfully and risk getting stuck deciding a murder case. Ugh.

I would advise making incredibly silly and strained faces at the attorneys on both sides. Definitely got me out of jury duty. A bit of tongue can't hurt either.
