Same for VG, Anna. Cool and dark, won't freeze in home equipment, but will get VERY thick and viscous. As with nic, let it warm to room temp before opening.

If as close to sterile as you can get it, and if the seal is good, those should be ok. :)

24mg is what worked to let me lay down the smokes. Funny part is that I kept on vaping 24mg for a couple of years before trying to move down in nic. When I did it was easy. I just dropped in 6mg increments every 3 or 4 weeks when I ordered vendor juice. There was never a time when I missed the nic. I went to zero nic and it was boring, so I moved back to 3mg and could sense the slight nic bite.

I dropped down to 12mg over a couple of years then went up to 15mg. I may go back to 18mg. I will see how it goes.

After that I have NO more vape mail coming. That seems not OK somehow...

Vape mail today. This may be the last one for a while. Unless there are more nice clearances on what I want.

OMG, if I was expecting vapemail every day, that would seem wrong somehow.... But, clearly, so does the reverse. Maybe I'm doing this wrong. I need to break up my fasttech cheap items into batches of one, and wait a few days between each.... but that seems wrong somehow.:lol:

My flavors and bottles arrive today, or so FedEx informs me!!!!! There is going to be some serious mixing going on.... by weight, this time. YAY!!! Here's hoping I don't hate it, but I have a feeling I shall Love It. Gotta figure out the best thing to use to put my VG in. I ordered 2.5 gallons and it all came in One Jug. This was a mistake as a) that's too much VG, it's ridiculous and b) I can barely lift it. Oh well. Does PG freeze? Or live better cold? Because I could totally find an empty milk jug or something and freeze a gallon of it?? Thoughts?

Other than, "I don't know what I was thinking," which thought I have already had, LOL. It's not like it's hard to obtain.....

Anna

I put my PG/VG in mason jars. Was planning on the basement floor for then but the box fit in the freezer so in they went.

I actually have a few liter glass milk jugs that my husband picked up for a while, and they have a nice tight seal, so some can go in that. I think I'm going to need a funnel, and probably a glass or metal mixing bowl to just pour it into as it's so heavy I won't be able to pour it accurately the way it is 2.5 gallons of VG is HEAVY....

Ya...2 1/2 gallons of VG would be a bit heavy. Hoisting the big jug onto a raised surface then cutting a 2 liter pop bottle to be a funnel and shield cause the big jug might glug and burp some when pouring out. I'm not sure about the size of the spout but maybe a camping water jug with a turning pour spout could fit thus making it easier to pour into smaller containers. I didn't go hog wild and just bought a glycube that was 1 gallon jugs so pouring into a quart is easy....;)

I did not think it through, but since it's just VG, I can use a lot of the baking funnels and stuff that I have.... No need to do that with the nic, that's all separated up and frozen already.

I gave NO thought to how heavy 2 gallons of VG would be, and it's an industrial Huge Spout, LOL. I was thinking, "Two and a half gallons of milk, that's nothing!" Oooppppsss.

I can lift my own bodyweight quite easily (thanks, yoga) but using your own body as a counterweight is entirely different from heaving up--- YAY, my flavors just got here! Time to get on the move, shortly. LOL. Well, no, I have a phone call to do shortly, then yoga, so it will have to be this afternoon, but YAY! I plan to have at least 15 mixes steeping by day's end.

This is why I don't work in the science field (well, anymore). LOL.

VG is separated. Whew. There was some spillage, but not that much. Then I mixed about 15 flavors and fixed 3. I'm TIRED. My ROARRRRRRRRERRR is all gone, but it WAS much more satisfying than spending that much time with Le Doggystyle, darn it.

Rooaarr.... zzzzz.... LOL.

Okay, I'm especially dumb this morning, it's VG, not PG. I'm not sure if that makes a difference for storage.

This thread says that USP VG has a shelf life of 5 years at room temp. If that's true I wouldn't worry about freezing it. We freeze nic to slow oxidation. PG and VG don't have that problem.
What is the shelf life of Vegetable Glycerin?

I don't think either PG or VG support microbial growth, but I haven't looked it up. That might make a good science project if anyone has kids of that age.
My 2 KFL+ and 3 black N2 drip tips came in today. That gives me 3 KFLs now, which seems enough for me.
Not long after I complained (not really) about no enroute vape mail i got an email from Nude Nicotine saying they are resending my nic salt sample, so i guess I still have something inbound.
For the last couple of months I've been ordering something from FT, 3F, or both every 2 weeks. It takes about 3 weeks for me to get stuff so I've had a constant flow of goodies. Now I have some stuff that's raised the bar on what is interesting enough to buy. This feeling of contentment is nice but a bit unfamiliar to me.

Yay! Well, I'm steeping my mixes that are new, but the ones I added to are working out well (I decided not to steep those, just so I'd get a sense of what is going on). My caramel was fixed via a DROP of sweetener, a bit more caramel, and about 6 drops of chocolate (clear) and it's tasting great!

This is making me quite optimistic about my flavors that are steeping.... I am excited and it will be hard to wait. I'm pretty confident about my new ones though, I think I've got this profiling thing down, at least so far.... Time will tell, LOL.

(I do mean juice profiles, not FBI profiles, though I did briefly consider that career, I think it might be fun, but a bit too dark for me, heh).

Anna

ETA: I slept in this morning and I am so pleased. 6:20! Anything after 4 a.m. is late for me, but I'm SO glad I did. I plan to do absolute zero more than feed self, the family, and the kid. The husband took pity on my deformed face and is picking up more abx for me, LOL. I'm Staying Home....

So glad to hear you got a bunch of brewing done !!!...And resisting the temptation to try a bit has gotten easier now that I've gotten out ahead of myself...I will have a dilemma in the next few days though...Another fresh back-up tank arriving and 3 Cheesecakes in the closet...If I use that tank I'll be violating my 6 Tank Rule...Plus I'll have to decide which Cheesecake gets the nod ???...Such a dilemma...I only give myself about a 50/50 chance of resisting temptation...And isn't it amazing what a single drop of sweetener can do...Over next few days I think you'll find it interesting how the Chocolate develops...My German Chocolate Cake grows & grows...Trig :D

I don't know how you keep track of it. I have six tanks on the go for testers plus my usual rotation. I do my testing later at night so I usually don't know what I am vaping.

I guess that's the problem when I started making vapable juice.

Well I'm not so sure that I just might be sneaking down the road to two too many tanks (like the way I got to use all 3 2's)...I guess I could hold a meeting of the Board Of Director and petition The Board to change the language from "Rule" to "Guideline"...But that could be disastrous with a few other tanks down the road...dread !!! :w00t::w00t::w00t:

Think I’m holding out hope for SXK to make one. I’ve had good results with them on other kayfun styles.
