be careful what you pray for. YOU JUST MIGHT GET IT!

heres my story. Unfortunately its all true.

I have told you of my Martial arts training.

this part of my story starts before that.

I grew up in a Haunted house and things were definitely weird. most children are blessed with 5 senses. I was cursed with 8 senses.

when I was 3 my clairsentience ability kicked in and I could feel the studs and electric wiring behind the plaster board.

When I was 5 my clairaudience ability kicked in and I could tell my guardians who was calling before they could answer the phone. my guardians were Baptists and labeled such gifts as Satanic then did their best to beat Satan out of me.

also at this time a distant relative taught me to do magic but not the ethics of magic. so I started to wield the powers I had been taught to influence people against their will.

when I was 6 years old my clairvoyance ability kicked in and I saw the ghosts haunting the house a few months later I started spiritual warfare with what Art Bell labeled Shadow people.

I told my guardians about the demons and was beaten for lying.

next I asked the pastor to do an exorcism or house blessing to drive the demons away. Mr. Anderson patted me on the head and said "My Goodness! What an imagination!

I then told my doctor Boyle Jones MD about the demons and he put me on tranquilizers.

the tranquilizers weakened my defenses and I became possessed by one of the demons.

during time of being possessed things went beyond the Twilight zone kind of weird.

once I flew into a rage at Uncle Bill after being beaten four times for the same offense.

I went outside and pulled an iron fencepost out of the ground and bent it double around a tree trunk

this is how I got to be such a messed up kid the school system demanded I be trained in martial arts when I was 10 years old.

about the age of 14 I became an athiest because no kind loving God would allow that to be done to a child.

I lived as an athiest until I received a miraculous healing from Cadre Pio who died in 1968.

1996 I was sick with the flu and so sick I should have been in a hospital. I was watching Unsolved Mysteries. They presented a segment on Catholic saint Cadre Pio.

after the segment was over I spoke aloud. "Since I'm an athiest I dent have the right to ask. but if you're real help me.

first the room filled with scent of roses and this incredible energy entered my feet passed through my body knocking me unconscious. I woke up the next morning 100% healthy. have carried a Cadre Pio medal in my wallet ever since

Kind of a coincidence: I’m just about to watch a movie called The Rite (apparently based on a true story about exorcism. Can’t be too bad, Anthony Hopkins stars).
On another note, yet another STM has paint blistering off!
Granted, this time it’s a clone, but seeing this paint bubble is quite disturbing to me!

I don't know what you're doing ChelsB, but you might want to work at an antique car restoration place, stripping paint :)

I kid, but what's the tank material made of because you could just sand everything off, or so I have just lately heard....

I hope this isn't a continuing occurrence for you...

Lol!
This happened a few months ago with a blue STM and I took a nail file to it and now it’s stainless steel

Nope. Nothing other than nic, flavoring, pg and vg
ETA: it’s max vg but I highly doubt that has anything to do with it
What kind of flavoring are you using? I have not had anything like that happen to any of my stm's and I have the same ones. Yeah, I got a couple of small chips in the outside cause of bumping my mods/tanks occasionally, but yowsa!!

:)

eta how are you cleaning your tanks?

The blue one had the Lucky Latte. The pink had a peppermint candy cane. If it had only happened with the mint one, I may suspect that (although saying mint causes paint peeling is quite a stretch), but since it was 2 different flavors, I’m stumped

The paint sees your nails and wants to join the party? :D

Heck, *I* see your nails and want to join the party. I have never painted them, the couple nailpolishes I own are for my toes, not my nails.

Virgin nails ChelsB, NEVER been painted. :)

Anna

Thanks! I may have said this before, but amazingly I quit the lifelong habit of nail biting when I started vaping (crazy! One would expect to bite even more). That’s why they’re always painted, I’m very proud of myself .
I’m breaking out my green stm clone with red o rings for the holidays. But you can bet I’ll be watching it like a hawk for peeling!

I haven't used it but I bet if you vaped some, you'd be able to tell (IDK about taste, but probably effect?)

I guess to err on the safe side, well, it's an interesting item, don't know how useful it would be to me long term, though possibly.... :) Especially if the husband winds up being sub0hm, I would probably (given my success with labeling DIY thus far...) find a use for it at some point, if bottles get mixed up, so if you do get it (or anyone has it) please report back :)

Very true. If I get light headed that means it’s 16 mg instead of my usual 8 mg. BUT I bought this kit and have never used it, now I have an excuse to try it.
Once again, I didn’t read the description of the product. I assumed it would be some type of paper that I just dipped into my juice to see what the level was or something like what you use to check chlorine levels in a pool

Unless the glass tank is porous or you're REALLY missing the tank when filling, it's not the juice. Shouldn't be any on the outside.

So perhaps inferior painting (or prep) from the factory, and that 5 minute soak is enough to cause it to peel. Or you've just had it out in the sun too long? ;)

This is disturbing. That said, I've read many reports about the original STMs (white and black) also having similar problems. Kangertech was made aware of it, but the only response from them that I'm aware of was that the paint is food grade and completely safe. Which is why I only own a ss (silver) one--no problems.

I have no idea what kind of paint those clones are using, but it's nasty. Sandpaper?

I would suggest 5 mins is too long to soak. How hot is the water? Maybe this is the culprit?
I just do quick rinsing and hand dry with mine.

Just hot tap water from the sink. I’ll definitely shorten my soak time.
However, this did not occur after a soak, just while I was vaping. In fact it hasn’t been soaked/cleaned in quite some time!
