Franken-mod ran into wiring issues so the mad scientist will probably have it for awhile. The thing that kind of stinks is I needed a set of 18650s and I though I needed them ASAP so I bought them at a vape store and got gouged. I could have ordered 4 from liion for not much more with shipping. Oh well. I have a set of VTC5A charged up and waiting for the word that it is completed. It’s all ok with me, I’d rather wait and have it done right than it be rushed and end up with problems. He’s a super perfectionist and safety focused so he tests and retests everything until he’s satisfied. Still excited but now it has to be tempered with patience.

A new post from @Mooch on his FB page:

"Bench Test Results: EHPRO Green-Black 3000mAh 40A 18650...a 15A battery, EHPRO says do not use with e-cigs!

Bottom Line: EHPRO markets this cell to vapers but their web site clearly states it’s not meant for use with e-cigarettes and that it is a serious misuse of the cell. We’ve seen retail vendors do this, it’s just a standard liability statement, but when the battery wrapping company does this with their own cells then is it done at our expense?"

For the entire post please visit his page.

I like our income tax situation. The wife and I are retired, and we have enough income to live comfortably. We pay no taxes on our income, and at the end of the year we pay nothing, and get nothing. Our tax preparation is done for free at the local place for seniors. Win, Win. :)

Right now I've got to work on taxes--unless the Tax Fairies hurry up and stop by.

This weekend I went to the IRS website and ordered 27  Forms/Publications...

(I'm too PC-Challenged to use a tax software program...and have never met a Tax Preparer who has anywhere near as much interest in the return of my money as I do...)

Luckily...from what I've read so far...next year...thanx to The Donald...I'll only need 1 Form ...

My poor husband has yet to do the taxes. LOL. He is also definitely in smoking detox, it has been about a week. When I arrived home, he was sitting in his recliner, staring vacantly at the ground, vaping..... The first thing he said is "My brain won't work."

Poor thing. He was clutching his vape like it was sanity itself. I tried to "talk" to him for awhile, but it didn't go so well. I sent him off to play video games and told him nothing "difficult" for the rest of the day. We will eat tuna salad.

I gotta say, my 40's are my FAVORITE SO FAR.

If I don't get some horrible health issue, I WANT TO LIVE INTO MY HUNDREDS!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I am starting to sound like a boomer.

Okay, I want to live into my hundreds in abject POVERTY!!! LOL, that sounds about right for us gen Xrs. :D

Please send armfuls of hand shakes, hugs, back slaps, fave kudos to your other half from here on ECF. Getting off the analogues into vape alone is different for everyone. I think I was in a fog too even with raised nic on the liquid.
My favroite saying, “This too shall pass”.
Vape will get him through and the brain will kick back in.
Im back into dropping the nic level...I see its been like five years so maybe time for me to quit vape.
Dunno yet.
Cheers

I will @Ipster !! :) :) Thanks for saying it! I would so ask the husband to check out ECF, but he doesn't like reading (his mom punished him one summer by making him stay in his room and read all the World Book Encyclopedias-- including the updates) and I think that turned him off reading for life, although he knows a lot of things.

I am so glad his mommy was not MY mommy. Mine taught me to read at age 2--3 and then provided me with ANY book I wanted. As far as I was concerned, "books" were my savior from like, the real world, which I really didn't care for very much at all from a very young age. LOL.

My husband just said, "Really? You're reporting my 'statistics'????????? Well, okay, thanks."

I think the thanks was to ECF, although the tone was a bit difficult to "interpret" I would say.... LOL.

Vape mail today :). I have two pink Picos in my stash but have been wanting this one for a long time. So I kept watching its price on FT and got it for about $23! There was another device that I considered buying but at $75 I couldn't justify it. I love Eleafs and Picos are pretty cool :)
