Also, some manufacturers haven't helped removing the tenths of Watts from some devices.

I agree, that has eliminated many of the newer devices from my interest as well. The chase for triple digit wattage has made this lack another thing to watch for when looking at my options.

Understandable, Fran, and to Kat's point, the very limited range (10-14w) can be an issue. It just happens to be where I live, so it's a perfect device for some personal needs of mine.

It wouldn't ever be a full-time use for me, so I'm changing coils about every 90 days. To be honest, it's basically what I use when I take my dog for her daily long walks. I like it better than the BluPodThingies because the vape is VERY close to what I get with a JAC & eggroll, but smaller and lighter.

Whatever works for us, right? While we can, at least (before we all get Gottlieb'd). :|
The limited range is good for me also. I never use high wattage.

Sometimes I feel belittled when crossing path with other vapers, or entering a vape shop...

Heck with 'em (and nice rigs there!).

The few times I've visited a shop, always with one tootler or another in hand, I find it somewhat entertaining that the child behind the counter is often sweating heavily, yet proceeding to take monster sized hits to "impress" the clients with the small weather systems forming at their ceiling.

"Mm hmm. Looks like fun. Got anything in 18mg strength for me?" :vapor:

Obviously I've not been much for vape shops lately. It looks like Gottlieb's looking to change that though. :sneaky:

Maybe one or two more bottles of nic here, just for S&Gs.

On our end, Fran, it's more the low (10w) that concerns us (particularly @Katdarling ). I'm good at 10w, but I'd probably knock off a watt if I could. It satisfies me though, and does taste fine, so I guess I'll never know. :)

It's a money thing, kitty kat. I can't afford to buy a bunch of new coils.

You could always just buy the mod separately.

It's a shame the wattage doesn't go low enough for me.

I was disappointed when some mods/chipsets turned up with minimums of five to seven watts, but with the newer ones bottoming out at 10 in many cases, the hoard is looking better and better. Everything over 25 watts is useless to me even when I take a fling with the subohm siren.

Posted more deals on the AYDSU thread Saturday. Berserkers deals from 2 websites are available. Also...Health Cabin has 2 US warehouse distribution centers, and hardware on their websites is 20% with a coupon code, and there's a FREE S/H promotion going for those, too. Might want to check it out.
    where are the berserker deals?

Sometimes I feel belittled when crossing path with other vapers, or entering a vape shop, when I pull out of the pocket a variety of setups, some cheap some expensive, all configured to work at 8 Watts with an MTL tank.
I always get curiosity and confusion as no one has ever seen anything that didn't have the words smok or juul printed on them around here.

My dear flakes, I get it. I really (really!) love the VV3s, and also wanted something to replace them. The Go(bitty) isn't perfection, and like others here, I sure wouldn't mind subtracting a watt, even two, but it's definitely got its place in the arsenal. It's by far the most perfect backup for O&A.

For the most part I'm a boring under 10w vaper.

    "boring" translated: HAPPY!!!!

It is. They are. Good find!

Found them last Friday. They're 1 of the items that's a super deal...at the same place that has the Efest batteries I posted about then. :)

Just posted on the Are You Done Stocking Up thread about some more super deals on stuff, especially the Efest 18500 Button Top Batteries @ $2.50 each and the Efest 18350 Flat Top Batteries (can use an adapter on them) @ $.95 each.

Figured I shouldn't doublepost the whole thing on 2 threads.

Warning! I ordered a white one. Arrived last evening stone cold dead. Put it on charger until battery level indicator showed green. Tried to vape it on pass thru, it did read the coil but wouldn't fire. Several hours later it did finally reach full charge and was working. Next morning it was still showing charge level@ 4.1v and still working, so far so good. So order at your own risk!

In the past when I was rebuilding and mixing in my truck I was carrying 2 tool boxes full of vape gear to get me thru 3-4 weeks on the road.
With my recent return to tootling with drop in coil tanks and ego batts I've cut that to 1 tool box.
I just received this little sweetheart of a vape in last evenings mail.

    IMG_20181030_142813.jpg

I had to do a touch of redneck re-engineering with a simple hack to get the airflow down to true Tootle level, but it's actually perfect *for me* now.
Thrilled with it right now but I've had it less than 24 hours and I learned with the iCare not to jump the gun. But if I end up with 1 or 2 more of these I can see carrying a full month of vape supplies in a little fanny Pak. I'm all for that!
