Well, the website decided for me. It wasn't happy with my billing address. (I'm in a moving around period). So, I just went to FT and used PayPal. Ordered both the 101 and the Invoke, plus some orings.

New shinies on the way!

EXCELLENT! Congrats, DH, and I hope the moving stuff settles soon. :)

Do you have a link to the daggers that everyone is liking?

This is the one that I was trying to use.

Thank you!

And this is the one that I used just a couple of days back. They'll be in my mailbox tonight.

Vo Tech Dagger 80W Mod Limited TC Christmas Edition

Wow! I just tried a prepaid card that I got for my birthday. It worked!

LOTS of shinies coming!

 :toast:  :D

One last comment. I've never known Blazed Vapes (is that their name?) before, but our Daggers are out for delivery today. THAT was unexpected.

I hope the dang things work... ;)

Arrived safely, both work perfectly, and I have to admit that I love the buttons (and the white!). Kicker is that I totally never even realized it's a kit. There's some kind of meshy tanky thingie in the box.

It'll stay there. Maybe after Kat gets hers she'll konvince me to give it a try. Or maybe not.

Bottom line - thumps UP!

Not sure that I could regress to a (rather small appearing) Fire Button...(I've mostly moved over to the Sinuous P80 Fire Panels)...but we are talkin' only $25...

1. This "bricking thing"...is it something that may occur only when charging via USB...and can it be reversed???

2. "Auto Control Mode and built in PCB monitors the boiling point of every e-juice and delivers the optimal temperature every time"...is this an actual thing or just hype???

..

I wasn't really trying to convince anyone, Gerry, and I'm not sure it would bring anything new or great to your collection. I know people get VJ's emails though, and figured I'd let them know that there might be a better/cheaper option.

That it arrived Priority, with a tank, kinda floored me. Who knew!

We went back and checked when we got our first ones, because we weren't sure. It was January 2017. Tomorrow will be the first day since arrival that my black one won't be in rotation, and it's still in really good shape.

On the bricking, yes, it's only when you first plug it in. It shows "Charge" (on left) and "Upgrade" on right. If you do nothing, the menu turns off and it begins charging. Once it goes off the danger goes with it. Like I said though, I prefer to rotate batteries, and the Dagger door is one of my easiest.

As for that 2nd part, I have NO IDEA. Power mode only, aye yam.

I push de button, de vapor comes out. Tastes good, ya (grunt). :vapor:

It's a mutually beneficial arrangement we have, Dolly & me.

More likely an, uh, interesting translation of something about TC mode. To actually monitor juice temp you'd need a sensor in the tank.

The 101 I actually already have. I bought it because I wanted a tube mod that could handle lower resistance than my Provari. But, I like it so much that I'ld like to grab a backup while they're still available.

The Invoke I"ve been wanting for a while. Not really, really jonesing for. But, it's supposed to be about the smallest dual batt mod around. So, I think it would be a good mod to have.

The Daggz I hadn't really heard of before. But, it's cheap, colorful, and apparently recommended. So could be fun.

Ya'll seem to really, really like the Daggz. Can you tell me why? That might help with the decision.

I like the Daggz for the reasons DPL outlined. However, I'm happy for you that YOU got what YOU wanted.

At the end of the (vape) day, isn't that what it's really all about? <wub>

I can say with absto certainty that neither of us were wishing to push anyone into a DaggDirection. <certainly not - that's not either our styles, right lovie doves?>

Seems this one is not everyone's style (button wise, mortar wise). The best vape, so they say, is the one in YOUR hand.

I happen to adore the Daggz, but I'll leave that at your feet. :)

We shall see, sweets!! Somehow, as I recline here now, I'm doubtful, but one nevah knows!

Wish I could tell ya, Gerry, but I have no idea. As discussed, I only change the batteries in my Dag, so I've never even been close to anything happening to it via the USB. Evidently, the user would have to choose to update/upgrade, so it's not something that might just occur (randomly or haphazardly).

Hey peeps; consider myself a tootle puffer but never posted here. Checking in to see what goes on in here :D

Welcome, nutmeg neighbor. As you can see, there are few rules here, so please feel free to jump in.

In fact, I'm not even quite sure how exactly it is that I ended up back here! I think the Kat dragged me in (or something like that).

Actually, I think I was stuck in a traffic jam on I-95, southbound between exits 11 and 8, and just decided to hop off and waste some time here. Freaking Fairfield County traffic is a BEACH! ;)
