True that! Just had the one on the generator serviced after hurricane season ended. She’s covered up and ready for next yearNot just cars.

Plenty of leftovers!Did I miss dinner time ???? I’m in Alabama right now, just saying....
Potatoes are a root vegetables ......You have peas!! There’s a veggie in there
The only reason why we had chicken was because I pulled the wrong meat out of the freezer last night. You can have my share of the mac n cheese, but I would get absolutely face down in the rest of that. Makes my mouth water.
Nope, fried chicken is always right! The only reason why we had chicken was because I pulled the wrong meat out of the freezer last night.
I wanted roast, don’t know what I was thinking last night.Nope, fried chicken is always right!

Shut 'em using the petcocks (all the time, every time), and treat all your gas with this stuff. If not this specific one, choose another blue one (STABIL, Briggs & Stratton, etc.). The red stuff is garbage (all of it). Those carbs will last for years and years and years.

I’m actually cooking a cowboy meal right now!
I hope I never experience another long-termed power outage for a very long time. yeah, I have experience with what DLP is saying LOL … I neglected my last generator and paid the price for it during our recent long-termed power outage... I now have a new generator and I am keeping it in tip top shape. Also DPL forgot to mention but a person should regularly start their generators and run them for a few minutes. It keeps the internal engine parts lubricated with oil and prevents rust from taking ahold.
They work well in cartos.
I can't believe I vaped those things. Not cartos, but those cartos.

Best to also run the generator under some load. Helps to keep moisture out of the windings.

yeah you would be correct as the heat generated from a load will dissipate any moisture.... How often a person starts their generator is sort of subjective and up for debate …. The import thing is to START the thing every once in a while …. Don't go for months without starting it, like I did with my last generator that I ruined out of pure neglect.... Well, that is not actually true as there was always something wrong with that generator from the very start, but none the less, a person has to follow a few, simple, little, maintenance tasks and those generators will not only start when you need them but they will last a long time...
Some folks suggest starting the generator once per month, some say twice per month and others say more frequently.... I really haven't looked into that yet and so I can't provide accurate data … However I do know that letting a generator (or any engine) sit for long periods of time without running them is one of the worst things you can do to them.

Sometimes it's nice to have a little moisture in one's windings.
I do once monthly, for 15-20 mins at a time, both generator and slowblower. Kinda funny in July, it is. They always start on the first pull (ALWAYS a good thing).

I always have moisture in my "windings" LOL …. I don't know how often I start mine as I really don't keep note of it. I just know that I start it up every so often and let it run for awhile. My last generator rarely got started for long periods at a time(not good)…. That won't happen this time![]()
We have a welder/gen and when it’s not in use, it gets started up so it can work when it’s needed. Thing is huge and it sits on a trailer, I always end up with a bruise knee when I walk by because it never fails that I walk into the trailer hitch.![]()
