We both have "hot lips" ;)

Yeah I imagine there are others here who have done such similar silly things but I also imagine that many of them are not willing to admit it

I have done all kinds of silly things. But I have never done that

I thought it was because I was lazy. I pop off the drip tip to add juice.
It is actually a thing that real hard core vapers sometimes do (I think there is a Youtube video of it). But they don't touch their lips on the hot coil. They use their mouth as the cap of the rda instead. And I say good for them and I am not signing up. ;)

I know you can see how much is in the juice wells better if you open it up. I just drop some in until it looks almost too wet. Works well enough for my piddling watts

I know that putting your lips to a carto or atty without a tip was called tailpiping but to hot coils? I never heard of that one. Ouch...

yeah well I never claimed to be perfect LOL …. Besides I had a bit of alcohol in my system (wine) … All as I know is that was a bad episode. Took about 2 weeks for my swelling to go down and to start healing .. Live and learn.

Oh, I have done my fair share of less than perfect stuff. Like dropping a Pico in the pool and almost drowning trying to retrieve it. All for nothing, it died.

Then there was the time the saber touch fire button got stuck and I couldn't figure out what the sizzling noise was. Lucky it didn't explode.

Yeah we all have our share of whacky stories I suppose ;) You are lucky that mod did not vent on you. That would have been real bad!

And, yet, since I chose not to buy an "authentic" I am frowned upon, shunned by many, and prevented from listing it for sale (although I, personally, rarely sell mods) or even discussing it in many places.

Nah. Screw that. Send in the clones! I have never been an early adopter for any tech or any product, and I certainly am not willing to pay extra (or any kind of outlandish premium) for the latest, shiniest, most spectacular chunk of metal turned out of a machine shop. I will pay what I consider to be a reasonable price for a product that I want. If a company prices themselves out of that zone then I will look elsewhere.

But, other than agreeing with Shawn or teasing Stols, I dropped by to (once again) brag that I have turned a bunch of people on or back on to vaping in the last few weeks. I've got people switching over from smoking and I've gotten people to get back into vaping by suggesting gear that works better for them than what they bought. Warms my heart during the holiday season to think that maybe some people are going to improve their quality of life or even live longer with my help. Cheers and happy holidays to everyone.

Oh @Shawn Hoefer I still love that Joyetech Batpack. It's great. My only problem is that I started carrying it to work as my daily stealth vape and my cursed giant hands seem to have problems getting it in and out of my shirt pocket. I've shattered four glass tanks now. And that's after rarely breaking gear over the last eight years or so. I just ordered six more glass pieces from Heavens Gifts because Joyetech was out of them. I'm back to the old EVOD Pro which a work friend of mine refers to as a "douche flute."

I would just forget that the pouch is there while working and crush the device against something. Shirt pocket is about as safe a carrying spot as I can manage at work. It's OK. I grabbed six glass pieces for about $18 including 8-10 day shipping.

Oh, and because it is a low Wattage vape and I live in California, a lot of people who are into things other than nicotine find it very useful. Without getting into a topic that isn't welcome - inhaling smoke is bad for you no matter where that smoke is coming from. I'm trying to help people to stop smoking.
