I bet the other "End" would know the difference . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

:pervy::lol::pervy::lol::pervy::lol:
I've been blowing vapor out of these things since before there was digital and the vapor hasn't changed. Some put out more some less and some are easier to use but my $250.00 mod doesn't do anything the one I built in 09 for peanuts does. They both heat up ejuice to produce the same vapor.
We should hope NOT! ;)

Stephen King could have a field day with that post, J5.
I think people tell themselves that to make themselves feel better about spending $500.00 on a mod.
It's like hot sauce. The 5oz bottle I buy for $25.00 has to be toned down because it's just too effin hot to use as it is so why would I buy a $2500.00 5 oz. bottle that's hotter? Oh yes there is some mighty fine mods that I would love to own but don't want to spend that much money for. But they still just create the same vapor. It doesn't change the flavor, nicotine concentration or anything else unless I change my juice ingredients.

I'm pretty sure you missed the points there, J5.

Both remarks were tongue in cheek.

Okay people I'll quit bothering y'all with my words of wisdom. Most think there's no wisdom in them anyway.:D
It doesn't take much to see that the problems of people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that. Now, now. Here's looking at you, kid. :hubba:

I don't know, not only am I a vaper, but also a collector of fascinating vaping gear. And not all of them are very useful for vaping. And sometimes I go down memory lane and I fire them up.

Like recently I just fired up an unused iClearXI clearomizer. They are made of Pyrex and uses coil heads. Sounds wonderful and they should be better than those cheap plastic disposable clearomizers. And frankly, they vape horribly. And don't get me started on those old PWM regulated mods.

Where was all this BEFORE I bought 27 REOS Mods ?

Dear John (so to speak),

I have a good number of fairly expensive mods, a large number of mid-range mods, and a about the same number of cheapies as I have of high end ones. I've purchased many more of each level than I own now, and sold off the ones that weren't worth it to me. Not that they weren't good mods, but that they weren't good for me. The value they brought didn't meet what I was looking for at the time.

Can I tell you the difference between a $250 Dicodes and a $13 Wismec? Absolutely. But what's the point, since it would be 100% based on my value system? Do I enjoy both mods? ABSOLUTELY!

Do I think I need to make myself feel good after buying an expensive mod? I think not, and my history of sales probably proves that point (not that I feel a need to prove it). I do know that I've been both complimentary and critical of mods with price having absolutely no bearing on my opinions.

Shawn sets his limit at $50 (I believe). It doesn't matter why he feels that way. He set it, and he sticks to it. I respect that a whole lot more than I do someone who buys something they can't afford, simply because they feel the need. In his case, it's clearly not because he can't afford them (he owns 20 times the number I'll ever dream of), but instead has set his principles based on his value system. We should all be so disciplined.

In one regard, John, you're correct. The vape experience between mods A & Z does not justify strapping one's self financially. Ultimately though, none of us are qualified to judge others for their decisions and/or value systems (not just in vape either, and not just relating to money).

You (J5) have your reasons for strongly supporting the good folks at NotCigs and Billet Box Vapor. If someone took issue with those decisions, or implied that you were "just trying to make yourself feel good", how would you respond?

DP, I agree 100%. But it is strange to me that at times I'm vaping with a 10 buck tank on a 200 dollar mod.

In the end the vapor you're inhaling and exhaling doesn't know if you're using a $500.00 mod or a $75.00 mod.

Vapor is not animate, it would not more ID the cost of a mod than let you know if you were sucking it from the rusty end of a tailpipe. So, I sort of disagree with that statement.

The user knows if the vapor tastes different depending on cost. While I agree some mods are stupendously overpriced and may not vape as well as they cost, in general, more expensive gear CAN (not always) produce a better vape for the user.

So, I guess I disagree a bit, even after correcting you statement that yes, is a bit reminiscent of the shining and/or Children of the Corn, or whatever.

I can do without animate vape, I think. LOL.

It would also be creepy if I came home and my mods had shifted position. I MAY start checking for that, maybe.

Never have used a rusty tailpipe but I can see how it would be awful. My favorite mod is the one I use most but not because it changes anything about what comes out of it. When I have chocolate cake no matter what plate it comes on I can't get it to taste like vanilla cake without messing with the recipe. All the other mods I had that just sit because they weren't my favorite still made me feel better looking at the fine collection of mods. But they all produced vapor. I'm sure if I had them tested the composition of the vapor would be made of the same ingredients unless I changed the juice. Some may have more vapor some less but they would all test as the same vapor. After staring at the fine collection I ended up PIFing them to less fortunate people that used them but they all just produced vapor for me. I did keep some that were gifted me or for sentimental reasons.
I would love to be directed to one of those mods that change vapor to something else you speak of though but not the rusty tailpipe. I'll pass on that one.

I think you missed my point. I don't think vapor is magically aminate, nor does it have an understanding of the find points of alchemy either. I'm just saying that if the vapor changed, it probably wouldn't notice it's change.

Kind of one of those "If a tree falls in the forest" situations, that and/or a terribly advanced Zen Koan of sorts.

Well, at least you never have to dust :)

Mamaw's job, not mine. But she does dust the higher up things, like ceiling fans.
There's always a catch - German Sheppards shed like crazy. Plenty of combing, grooming and sweeping involved.
