I purchased my second Berserker (24mm) the other week.I set this one up with the glass (tall mode I suppose) Comparing short and tall mode I'm finding the vapour production a little thinner with the glass,
the vape is still really good, just not quite as much umph as using it in short mode.

Anyone else noticing this?

So, how do all you erlk users stop the wheezing. My wife absolutely hates mine. I tried filing off the edges on the airflow slots. I chamfered the holes in the center pin. It still wheezes. Maybe putting little cotton balls into the air intake slots, or an o-ring would help. I love the weight, the capacity and the vape. It is just WAY too loud. Enquiring minds want to know.
I also removed my AFC and have never looked back. It does make some noise, but it doesn't seem obnoxious to me like some others I've seen/heard out in the world that sound like jet engines.
Maybe it's your wicking and/or coil and not the device?
When I rebuild and wick mine, which will be soon, I'll take some pictures.

Baby Girl turns 39 today. (damn, I am getting old)
My daughter turned 29 this Fall. For some reason it bothered me more than any “milestone” birthday of my own. Happy having made it through her first 39 years!

My baby turns 35 the day after Valentine's Day. My oldest turns 41 in June. And, my youngest grandchild becomes a teenager in November. Time marches on.

I never notice my atties being particularly loud, unless in a VERY quiet environment. But, when talking to my sister on the phone? OMG, she's loud!

Of late, I'm trying to avoid buying direct from China.

The money saving has shrink to very little nowadays, and the entire purchasing experience becomes a total loss when you receive DOA mods or shattered tanks; or a missing item in a multiple order, followed by nonsensical customer service (can you send a video of the missing items?).

My problem is, most dealers stock new items, and then do not restock. So, if I want another mod a year after release (example, the Mirage) I must go through the hoops.

This is because the Chinese have gone into overproduction, and vape dealers struggle to avoid an excessive price drop. UK has resisted it so far, but I'm seeing more and more dealers dropping prices (after the initial launch) until the devices sells reasonably quickly; the default, so far, it has been to keep list prices undefinetively, but that is changing now toward a simplified, old-school marketing, by skipping the profit maximisation in favour of faster turnover.

^ I guess I got lucky then, because the slow boat form China delivered a couple of winners this time ..

The mods are a few years old, the Galaxies are new (to me)

I spend a LOT of time on calls (meetings, videoconfs, etc.), so I've come to learn that even the smallest of differences matter. I know which atties I can use in which situations, and also know which ones to never touch while on a call ("Hello, Kabuki!").

A new tank I just received has dethroned my beloved Doggy's. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. After a few glitches with the tank it is vaping FANTASTIC. The air flow is super smooth with plenty of adjustments of a open or very tight draw. Flavor is off the charts great.

The MTL tanks are usually very quiet; the Kabuki, Nautilus mini and Triton mini are barely audible. From the RTA side, the Berserker and Ammit MTL are whisperers, too.
The story changes with DTL tanks; the noisiest tank I have - it sounds like a steam engine of the Victorians - is a TFV8 Big Baby Light Edition. Maybe because of the modifications necessary to accommodate a LED ring in the tank base, it produces a signature noise distinguishable in a stadium during a penalties shootout after extra times.
It is definitively a feature which is ofter overlooked by many manufacturers.

I also prefer my berserker in shorty mode, and it fills better too, no gurgling and whatnot. My True should be in the giant package that arrived from FT that I haven't opened yet, got a bunch of new RTAs and it's a little intimidating. It will happen, just when... Well, when the moment is right. LOL.

I really only order from FT and I find them more reliable than many US vendors. It will be slow and it will consistently be slow. But I've never had issues with broken tanks, non working mods etc.

Maybe I've been lucky and etc. If I have a large order of stuff I want that is not urgent (or, if FT is the only supplier that has EVERYTHING I want at a reasonable price, I use them.

Does anyone know if the Ehpro True can come with a Bottom Feed Pin ?

i don't know, Papaw, but there's a thread on them, and I'm guessing the answer may be in there somewhere (or known by the participants). Probably best just to pop the question there, instead of trying to read every post (said the lazy-Saturday guy). :)

Yes, it does march on. I don't have kids of my own...just taught everyone else's for 30 years. My first class of 6th grade students that I taught years ago, are now 57 years old!
