I still have unopened 510 cartos in a box with my eGo and my Joye 510 cig-a-like. I probably need to unwrap a carto and juice it up for old times comparison. Those are what made me kick the cigarettes to the curb and never look back.

I once took a Joye 510 cig-a-like battery apart to see what was inside. There was a tiny metal tube an inch and a half long about the diameter of a #2 pencil inside covered in shrink wrap with 2 wires connecting it to the positive and negative case contacts. No wonder I could only vape for a couple of hours without recharging.

Open them! :)

You would be surprised how well they stack up against pod mods. If nothing else it will take you back to the good old days of vaping. Nic salts work well in old atomizers and cartos.

The old stuff is more stealthier as well. They are quieter. Most pod mods are so noisy!

That being the case, I'd try the tear-down. Not having to return it means no cares about possibly voiding a warranty. May wind up with two. :)

You might be right :) I will tear it down like you suggested. There could be metal shavings stuck in the air ports.

I’ve run out of all my 901s. Know where I can get more? Lol

I recently saw some but can't remember where. I threw a bunch out a few months ago, didn't know you wanted them.

If nothing else, you'll have some spare parts. But a likely suspect.

Gosh, you even got the drip tip pegged lol. I wasn’t even asking about the drip tip. I wouldn’t even have known what the drip tip was but a Ming does ring a bell. Where can I get more??

The battery is a 280 mah battery which I got in a kit back in 2010. I still have 5 of them and I have a bunch of KR808s as well.

Good guess with the Boge but it’s actually an 801 carto. I think I got them from Eastern Mall in China? I think I got the name wrong but there was a large vape vendor in China back then similar in profile to elagomall.

It’s surprisingly good! With 12 mg nicotine it gives the perfect vape. As much as I love my vintage vape gear I wouldn’t use it for long if it didn’t give me a satisfying vape. I’ve put pod mods back in the non-usage pile faster to be honest. The old style cartos have better flavour than most pod mods.

PS: Boges were the best. I’ve still got a tonne of them from several years ago.

    Anthony, CV still carries them!

Ming | Drip Tips | Mouth | Pieces | Vape | Vaping | Cherry Vape

And I agree with you - the ol' Boges (and others) had GREAT flavor and were more satisfying than the new mod pod mods. I have no klue why, but they were.

Break out those tonne of Boges!

    You threw them out :(

That’s vintage discontinued vape gear. We all ‘grew up on those’

Everyone on this thread promise to never throw out perfectly good vintage Vape gear!

Yeah, I was never a big fan of the 901 and I didn't have any batts to use them on. I have adapters somewhere but wasn't going to look for one of those so I tried selling them for shipping costs and no one wanted them. So I tossed them cause I have way too much stuff I will never use. I also tossed a zillion of those prefilled cartos, anyone remember those things? They were nasty to begin with and after almost 10 years, I am sure they were really bad.

@AnthonyB - Here's some more Acrylic Ming Drip Tips. They're less expensive, but the material and shape appears to be the same.

Acrylic contoured vase drip tip - 510/901/KR808d-1 | SmokTek.com - Appears only Yellow is available now in 100% acrylic, but there are 12 different Ming Vase shaped ones on the same page...made of varying materials

    Acrylic Ming Vase Drip Tip for 510 | 808D-1 | 901 - 3 different solid colors available

Acrylic Ming Drip Tip - Has 13 different swirled colors marked down to $1.25 each

Oh look there they are ! My orange Ming drip tip is there! I’ve had so many drip tips for MTL over the years but seriously, my one orange Ming tip is my favorite.

There are plenty of different Ming variations and some cheaper knock off ones out there but the original Ming’s are made of good quality and feel a little thicker than the cheaper alternatives.

These ones look exactly like the good one I have.

Prefilled cartos would definitely have to go. You cant vape juice after 10 years.

I started my vape life on KR808 prefilled cartos from Vape4Life and would always refill them.

Anyone who threw them out after using up the prefilled juice was just silly lol

    Thanks for this!

I notice you linked Smoktek. Smoktek are great for older gear. Late last year I found cartomizers tanks, carto punches and Iclear 30 coils after looking everywhere for them. It’s extremely hard to find carto punches and carto tanks nowadays but Smoktek has them.

I have a new carto punch and tons of carto tanks. Don't use them anymore though and don't know what to do with them.

Too bad I live in Australia then! I would have taken them all and used them.

ECBlend.com still has a variety of the carto tanks (very cheap in Hardware Clearance section), and IIRC EVCigarettes.com (in Florida) still has the punches and the SS fillers. Several other websites I've been on in the last week have those things, too...usually for dirt cheap.

Hang onto 'em. We still don't really know exactly what wicked this way comes.

If you only knew the stuff I am hanging onto. I already figured out long ago that no matter what happens, I am well covered for my age/life expectancy. The problem is all the storage space and the fact I can never find stuff when I want it without going through a ton of boxes. and you people keep naming things I don't have and might need like little red orings for the P3. I am resisting because I don't want to buy 100 of them and maybe never need the things.

Of course, I keep buying stuff, there is that.
