Aw, JC. I do believe that you may have mistook an intended compliment to a specific and deserving vendor, as an insult to everyone else, possibly even including yourself (which is SO not the case). You should know Kat's collection (mine too, for that matter) well enough to know that she's got tips of ALL shapes, sizes, & prices, and we both use (and REALLY like) them all.

Heck - dessert Vapes' $.79 cent jobbers are some of our absolute favorites!

Knowing her as I do, I have zero doubt that she was simply trying to point out that Cherry Vapes makes a quality product, and it shows. Yes, they charge for it too. But if someone truly wants a CV product, their best bet may be to just get the CV product (and pay for it).

Again, that's NOT to say ANYTHING is "bad", just that CV is noticeably good.

So, paying homage to a company who has worked hard to do something well, and has obviously done a good job of it. That's it - cut & dried. NO offenses intended.

If I'm wrong, she'll correct me (no doubt), but since drip tips have been such a common topic for us, I'm fairly confident that I'm on target.

It truly saddened me to see you upset by it. I'd have thought you know both of us better than to think she was slapping at you.

My post was to reflect the absolute kudos to a vendor who has consistently put out an excellent product (albeit more expensive than others). Back in the day, I would buy one CV tip, then wait until I felt I wanted to spend yet MORE money on a tip (as DPL said - we have MANY). Occasionally I'd find them on sale and then my "achievable goal" of completing (or attempting to complete) a collection actually had a chance.

I adore each and every one of my drip tips, including those that were 40c and those that flew to the money moon (EXPEN$$$IVE).

The only time I ever saw what appeared to be actual CV tips was the one time I bought them (a BUNCH of them) and tho they were cheap as chips, they were not the same and never could compare to the CVs. That would be have been fine, but they were ADVERTISED as "Cherry vape(s)"!!

It looks like Cherry Vapes still has a page with Ming drip tips still available. They even have seasonal and occasion releases like Xmas Ming’s but I am not sure if these are old releases that just sit on the website.

Nothing compares to a genuine acrylic Ming drip tip.

I had to go search their site for the Xmas Mings. The one I see is the Icy Christmas and yep, I have that one. I've never understood the light blue and red colorings, but welp, so be it! As far as I know, that's an older tip.

Yeppers, you guys beat me to it. That's a ByLeo Dripper Pro, and yes, it did require ceramic cups. I adored that setup for a time, but it's since moved on to a new abode.

I still use my by leo apollo for some excellent flavour. Love the calix pico rta too.
I think billie at by Leo still has the ceramic cups.

I didn't think the cherry vape drip tips where too expensive. Creme de vape in the UK always carry some stock and it ranges from 95p to £6.95.
I've seen some around that compete cost wise with the tanks they're used for.

So I bought some nicotine laced ejuice, dug out the old stuff, and came back as a 20mg vaper.

Most of the tanks were pretty bad, especially anything made out of plastic, or most of the stuff made by Smok, because so much of it was hard to clean. Most of this, along with an assortment of cruddy drip tips and other stuff, ended up in the trash. I had lots of cartos, and nice carto tanks. As much as I love them though, they don't seem to deliver a concentrated enough vapor for higher levels of nicotine.

But I still had a bunch of Nautilus and Kanger coils, and a couple each of Subtank Minis and Nanos, a Nautilus plus a couple of minis, and three partial Kabukis. I managed to together a complete one, and used the P3 base.

The Provaris all worked, except for the Radius, which I had accidentally left the batteries in for over 2 years. Frankly, no great loss there. Except for the money.

I figured I should get a few new tanks that used Nautilus coil heads, seeing as how they won't be going anywhere anytime soon, and they're also inexpensive. I discovered the Nautilus 2. First tank I've tried that competes with the Kabuki for smoothness, top fills and looks quite cool. Shinyitis! I just got my third and fourth today.

So why am I telling you all of this? Because when I was looking at vape stuff for the first time in two years, something hit me. Lots of people are taking this up, and lots of them are buying these nice shiny starter kits with tube mods and clearomizers with drop-in coils, or pod systems. Much of this stuff looks really cool and boffo, and isn't terribly hard or time consuming to use.

So the average vaper starting today is a tootle puffer, and doesn't even know it! While so many of you have "moved on" to high wattage mods and RTA's 'n stuff, the new vapers are largely buying tootling gear.

So be kind when you run across these folks. Remember that you once bought an eGo starter kit. Advise them on the ways of tootling from your own vast experience. A new wave of tootlers is coming!

Me, that's all I've ever done. So I'll take a nice long pull from my Nautilus 2 (stainless steel, beautiful) on my Provari Ti now.

Anyway, nice to see so many of you again, and I'll probably be around. Forewarned is forearmed.

What happened to the Radius? If you still have it, it might be fixable. There is a former Provape guy that has been doing some repairs on the side who might be able to get it up and running again. I, and several others around here, have sent things in to him for repairs.

The Radius was gutted with corrosion. It had batteries in it, wood finish spilled on it, and left that way for about 2 years. I had things stored all over the place.

As it happens, I do know the Provari repairman. Got his email from a thread here, which got me to thinking about all y'all. He has my P3 Ti, which stopped working shortly before I stopped vaping. I think I might send him a 2.5 and a Mini to put P3 top caps on. That would give me a couple of more mods that take 22mm tanks.

Do you happen to have any Provi beauty rings, Dave? Those old fixed pin top caps are tough to beat for stability and sure fire vaping. The P3 caps can sometimes be a bit more finicky.

No, I don't have any. In fact, I'm not sure I've seen a beauty ring for the Provari, other than those that came with the P3's/Classic/Ti, which are to hide the 510 adapter.

Yeah - they're still around. They shut down the shop in Port Chester (unfortunate but understandable), but they're still very much present in the vape game, particularly in the advocacy area. Good folks, from what I've observed.

I may be biased due to the geography, and I admit that much.

If you remember it was designed to be aesthetically compatible to the original Provari. I haven’t used it on my original provari. I quite like it on this itty bitty little ego battery making it extremely lightweight and stealthy. Better flavour than most, if not all pod mods out there and that’s with silica. I haven’t even tried it with cotton.

The eBaron can take 15 drops no problems and never leaks.

It was expensive too. I remember paying $70 for it at the time.
