WOW!!!...No posts here since April 30???
Actually...I, myself, have NOT been on ECF for awhile...after the Panicdemic started I seem to be spending my previous "ECF time" at Lew Rockwell LewRockwell.com...
Our Rulers...PA. Tom (Cry)Wolf...placed us ALL under House Arrest...and closed most businesses...(a couple local vape shops that stayed open were QUICKLY visited by AGWs [Armed Government Workers])...
However we are "allowed" to go to grocery stores...as long as we wear our Submission-Signaling Masks...and practice "proper" Antisocial Distancing...

WELL - NOW . . . Might as well go outside and take a run around town without a mask then, especially to protest openig up the state just like so many others . . . Oh BTW: Do Ya' have any automatic weapons to take with you - maybe you can force the elected government officials that you don't agree with to leave office and do what you want . . . Or even threaten everyone to go maskless . . Maybe even be able to shot all those who have the virus anyway and make it safer for all of "Us" . . . You know so that no one else is going to get sick or DIE . . . Remeber it is all just a "Hoax", invented and preputrated by Liberals & Democrats that were helped by the Chinese Government to destrory the USA Economy (instead of interferring with our elections), to embrass the man in the White House and hopefully kill all the unimportant old - poor - Non-White and unimportant people that usurp what belongs to the .05% . . Just Sayin' . . .

Okay - I don't remember exactly which thread it was - nor who it was that mention they worked in IT or with computers, but I NEED help. My Laptop Computer refuses to cooperate and I cannot access OS or hard drive . . . All I know is it has been corupted somehow . . . Already tried to start in safe mode, start at last known good operating point, and start with command line to do a Check disk - nothing. Even tried using the original MS XP Pro installation disk to repair - again cannot access disk. More important, I stupidly have a not backed up the hard-drive for at least 4 years . . . . If at all willing to help send pm . . . THANKS.

Not a good sign, Unc. You hadn't made a backup thumbdrive, had you? If the original install disk won't read, that's not good. You may need to see a live doctor, if they can even manage to spare it.
Most of the time data can be rescued, but it can get costly.
No one in AZ is wearing masks anymore. Seriously they look at you funny if you actually DO.
When I went to the "sick urgent care area" like the dude looked SURPRISED when I asked for a mask he was all like, "Whut you actually want one." I was like, "I don't care but I think YOU want me to have one."

One year ago this evening, I smoked my last cigarette. Actually, I took three puffs and put it in the snuffer. It tasted terrible and it didn't satisfy my nicotine cravings. I was vaping 25mg at the time.
Today, I'm vaping 3.75mg, and rarely have a cigarette craving.

It's quiet in my neighborhood, almost eerie. My wife and I put on our masks Saturday and went shopping at the local strip mall. Since our state of Georgia eased up on the lock down there's more people out shopping and driving around, but I still don't even trust a mask if there's anyone I don't know within 10 feet.
Government seems more concerned about revenue from sales taxes than they are about citizen health. I get that businesses need customers to stay in business. It's up to us to wear the masks, shop for what we need, and hope we don't run into a full blown Corona Virus carrier.

Don't know if anyone actually noticed my absence/limited access of ECF for the past couple of weeks - been going through a lot of personal "Stuff" like most everyone else (Birthday/Death/sadness/depressed), including having my access to the internet extremely limited given "My" Laptop's Hard Drive stopped working . . . However for the past 2 weeks and with much GRATITUDE and Overwhelming - THANKS - to an ECF Friend of "Ours" and an absolute "Miracle" worker and "MENCH" . . . "My" Laptop computer is back up and running - since they were able to "FIX" the hard drive . . . AND - Not least of all - saved "Me", especially since I was a "fool" that didn't "Back-up" their files often enough (last time was 3 years ago) . . . Not one of my 16 years of files vanished / were lost to "Me' any longer either . . .
Now - I do not have to just rely on an outdated, limited and not up-gradable 10 Year old XOOM Tablet to peck and paw my way through ECF. . . . As some people might already know from previous post during huricains, I really dislike and have difficulty "Typing" on a Tablet that is so outdated that it refuses to open a number of website - NOT NICE
. . . AND - A using a smart phone for internet access is worse . . . 
Anyway - While I would like to make a few replies and I know I've missed many personal memorial moments, too many to post a proper Birthday, Anniversary, Vapeaversary, etc. Greeting marking "Your" Day . . . So I hope Ya' will just all accept a simple, but just as important and heartfelt:

Glad you're back buddy,you have been missed.
I feel you on the b-day stuff,hitting the big 4-5 in 4 days and meh...not much to celebrate to be honest but I'm always smiling when my pops is around,can't make him think I'm depressed or anything,just wouldn't be good for his already precarious health.
Well anyway,happy to hear from you,i was wondering why i haven't seen you around that much,anything you need just holler,we here for you.
