Derek Trucks is Butch Truck's son (Allman Brothers drummer). Everyone swears that Derek somehow channeled Duane Allman's spirit (and it shows in his playing). I guess Derek just grew up under the influence of ABB.

And I have heard that he is Very Technically Sound in Concert. And Makes Very Few Mistakes.
It's kinda a Shame that the word "Late" precedes so Many Musicians. Too many went Before their Time.
