Top Cap with Un-raised Post?

Would it be possible to special order a top cap with the center post pressed to the old depth rather than the new .010 higher?

My 510-801 adapters don't want to thread down nicely. If I put the adapter on my Precise first, then I can only barely get the carto on. If I put the adapter on the carto first, I can get it on the Precise but it's a little wobbly. I suspect the issue may be the extra height on the center post?

I'd like to keep my current cap though, because I do have a couple vivi nova's I keep random juices in. So I'm thinking of having one cap for my 801s and one cap for my novas.

Yes, we can. I'm out of top caps now, but will have more in later January.
