Lets just face reality, you can no more keep a kid from vaping, then alcohol, drugs, or any other behavior. The only thing you can do is educate them and hope they make the right decision. It's been my experience the more forceful you are the more they resist your wishes. It would be nice to lock them up till they are 25, I'd have less grey hair, lol.

Amen, that's all I was trying to say.

I don't see how this is relevant at all to this conversation.

Kids of all ages make these videos

It is relevant to the first sentence of the OP: which is:
Some 11 year old kid posted in the new members forum the other night, stressing that vaping was the hobby he wanted to pick up due to family dysfunctional stress.

you really need to make a practical distinction between kids and minors. if they can act on their own will and make their own decisions, then they're really not kids...they're simply underage

vaping would certainly qualify as acting on their own will

Most smokers (me included) started by finding a parents' pack laying around and snagged a couple. Then went behind the shed and lit up. I don't have 20 mods sitting around in a small paper box. I'd know in an INSTANT if my mod was missing, because it wouldn't be in my hand. Keeping tabs on your devices makes it just a wee bit harder for then to try it.

To get back to the subject, I had to wait till I was 18 to buy a pack of smokes, they should wait till 18 to vape. Just because it may not have nicotine in the juice doesn't make it ok in my book. Heck, you even have to be 21 to buy Odouls.

Some 11 year old kid posted in the new members forum the other night, stressing that vaping was the hobby he wanted to pick up due to family dysfunctional stress. Me and a couple of others chimed in before the post was deleted, telling the kid to buy a guitar.

There was also a post telling other vapers to report a YouTube video with a kid explaining how to trick your parents into buying you gear.

I KNOW this is against T&S but, how many of you started smoking prior to the legal age? There have been some pretty nasty comments left for these kids. They obviously have it set in their minds that they want to release some sort of smoke or vapor from their chests. Just like I did. Only now, there's vape tools. AS OPPOSED TO CIGARETTES. Which kill, kill, kill. So hey, except for your fright of losing your ability to vape, would you agree these kids may actually have a point?
Maybe we should give them a beer and a shot of whiskey then send them to Afghanistan to kill Al-Qaeda. The point has been, is and always will be they are children, not adults and have no business discussing e-cigs, alcohol, illicit drugs or posting nude selfies on social media. If their parents want to make those kind of arrangements that's fine with me. Otherwise it's not for other adults to entertain those things with children. JMO
