Tried a Stardust, want something better?

I like to clean mine out of the box as I don't like vaping the antibacterial/shipping fluid.
Also, use the supplied needle to fill or one of the same size and don't use the fill hole to pry off the top seal.
If the top seal fill hole becomes enlarged or damaged they will not work properly.

I ordered a box of the top coils and I am not impressed. They hit pretty good when it works, but all of them have leaked and gotten gurgley after a while. I even get juice in my mouth sometimes.

I've tried both the long and short wick Stardusts as well, and although I do like the long wicks better, the performance on these have dropped and I have cleaned them out and refilled them several times. The flavor is also getting progressively worse, very muted.

Think I will try the bottom coils next. Which site sells the best ones? I also find it difficult to suck the juice out of the bottles with the syringe. They always get this suction which pulls the juice back into the bottle. Any tips for this issue?

I insert the syringe in the bottle spout and invert.
Pull the syringe out slightly to allow air to enter.
Keep it at an angle or it will suck up the incoming air.
This works for me, however the wife has developed her own system.

Edit: I have bought them from 3 different places as they are made by BetterLife.
Rick @ Vaporalley has always treated me right.

I learned this trick from my diabetic friend who uses needles every day. Before inserting the needle into the bottle, pull back on the plunger to the same amount that you want to pull juice out. This will put air into the syringe. Now insert needle into bottle, invert the bottle and push the air into the bottle. Now pull back on the syringe. The air pressure that you put into the bottle, with the air from the needle, will help push the liquid into the syringe. Once the desired amount is in the syringe, the pressure in the bottle will equilize and all will be well. Hope this helps:)

Also, I got my bottom coil CE3 from VaporAlley, but discount vapers has them for a dollar less, I think. GV is also running a fathers Day sale and has a coupon code. Theirs is called the Phoenix bottom coil, which i think you already knew.

They do mine:)

So far the Phoenix top coils are performing awesome. You have to leave them sitting upright or at least on an incline or juice floods the tube- at least for me it does.
I am using 50/50 juice. They have good clean flavor and give clouds of vapor. I love the draw. It isn't too loose or too tight. The Phoenix tc is the best clearo I have tried thus far. Now if I can just figure out how to clean them. Thanks bigpman for your suggestion. The Phoenix vapes much better than the Stardust IMO.

Kyi:
I took 2 rubber o-rings from CE2-s which I had lying around, and put them just above the fill tube of my Pheonix TC
and that stopped the profuse leaking problem so far. The drip tip now seats flush, onto those 2 rubber o-rings.
I tried using just 1 of those rubber O-rings but was still having problems with leaks and gurgles and constantly having to
pull off my drip tip and blow out the center tube and clean juice out of the drip tip. So far using the 2 rubber O-rings stacked one on the other is working nicely for me.

While I sincerely appreciate manufactures and vendors like GotVapes doing what they can do provide us with tools for a more satisfying vaping experience, I've totally given up on the Stardust and Phonex (both TC and BC). I found that they muted flavors too much, and that their performed inconsistently. Even with muted flavors, when they worked (particularly the Phoenix TC) they weren't too bad. The problem is that they don't always perform well, or fail after too short a period of time. Such a waste of money. I've gone back to dripping almost all of the time - and use a Boge carto when I have to.

On a related note - when products such as these are first released, they're usually followed immediately by a wave of YouTube clips from individuals who express glowing praise (who more often than not didn't purchase the product). That's all well and good. I even react favorably the first time I try any of these. However, I think it would serve us all better (as well as the credibility of the reviewer) if they would offer follow-up reviews - perhaps a week or two after they've been using the product. I wonder if their update reviews would be as positive as their initial reviews.

lol I've rewicked/recoiled my Vision clearo V1 5 times without without having a multimeter or anything alike, just by watching this video. I extended the wick as in V2 and it vapes exactly the same as my 1.8ohm V2. I've rewicked/coiled every 2 weeks, 3 to 3.5ml a day :p And I still think I'm doing it too frequently but it just works...
