I hope SI notices this thread, and they ask for 2 holes, or even 1 hole in the base assembly going forward. Not sure if anyone prefers the airy 3 hole base. Dries out my mouth very fast, and I seem to get less flavor. I am amazed at the amount of vapor even with the airy draw.

I only have manuals, and taking easy draws helps a little. On an auto, the airy draw would be a huge draw back, I think.

It would be much better if they request two holes on future batches. When I put the T3 on my auto X2, it helps a lot when I use my lanyard. The elastic covers the bottom of the T3 which improves the draw greatly.

I found a way of blocking the air holes that is working great for me & it's not permanent like glue. I just rub the knurled part on a candel till the hole is filled with wax. It stays in place til I punch it out with a pin. Works great for me.
hey butch.....im liking this....idea..:thumb::thumb:..I can just see it now when these t3s arrive.....im guessing ill just stare at them a lot...like a letter your to scared to open..........

Yes, I ordered 2 replacement heads & 2 T-3s. So I'm going to pull one out to see if it works on this tank. If that doesn't work, then I'm going to paint the tank with clear nail polish in case there is a tiny crack that I'm just not seeing. I'm hoping it can be fixed.

It's disappointing, sure, but anything made on an assembly line can be bad. So I'm not blaming SI for it; they're still my go-to place for batteries, cartos, & clearos.
yes moonstruck cant blame si....there still my go to place....

Just a suggestion Debra, since you haven't tried them yet. Some people like the airy draw, you might too. If too much, put a tiny piece of tape over one hole at a time, leaving at least one hole open. Do this first before permanently sealing the holes to find the right draw for you. I wouldn't completely fill it up either... maybe about half way. These things hold a LOT of juice! Just my :2c: worth. :)
the wax might be a winner idea....I wont be sealing....

Easiest way to check for a crack is to hold the tank horizontally with a bright light, like a flashlight, shining on it at right angles then slowly rotate the tank. If there's a crack it'll show up as a bright line and be easily seen.

My only caveat with the wax method would be it might come out, easily, when cleaning in hot water. I have pulled the air tube off the head, be careful of the wick that just lays on top of the coil, and they clean up like brand new. Way better than a clearo can be cleaned and also easy to switch flavors as a result. The other "big" tip is to invert the silicon seal on the air tube if you use thick, heavy liquids. This will increase the flow of liquid to the wicks/coil and eliminate or reduce dry hits.

Now the big trick will be having them maintained during manufacturing exactly the way they are, without any so-called improvements as has happened with clearos and CE3s.

One worthwhile change, if it can be done without introducing leaks, would be a replaceable mouth piece as many have noted. Something a little smaller or even a flat "pipe style" tip would be nice as well but I'm afraid that introducing a second set of seals would open a big can of liquidy worms.

oh no no no no.....to liquidy worms......im afraid enough..........

So.... Looking like I'm the only one with a leaking problem? After the nano fiasco I only ordered 2 of these, no spare heads. I filled the first 1 about 3 different times with 100% VG juice and it floods the batt after only a couple of hits... Looks like most people are having good luck? Maybe I should test the 2nd one? I'm just getting tired of sopping up my favorite juices with Kleenex instead of vaping it...

hey hops....im the aussie queen of leaks....are you saying your t3 is leaking..............ive used more tissues.....since vaping then all the flus coughs colds...ive ever had... ps....I get my leaks..........x2 cleao style............you are not alone........anymore xfiles out there...:banana::confused:

Felt like chiming in again.

I'm smitten with the T3's, I'm going to drop a pretty penny on a bunch of heads here pretty soon.

Still haven't cleaned mine yet, though the one I was using the mocha flavor in is definitely due.

Also got my new sky blue 900mah X2 manual and it's freakin awesome. And as a side bonus, its size is much better proportioned to the T3 and my setup no longer looks so top heavy.

Didn't take me long to go from "I'll never want a big batt" to having a 650mah X2 as my reserve battery... haha!

Well, I hate to be unoriginal but, damn, I sure do like these T3's on my X2! Great flavor, good vapor, and it takes, what, about 2 secs to fill? Actually, I only fill mine halfway, a full one would last me several days and I like to switch between flavors more often that that. Got two, will be ordering more soon.

'Nother vote for SI to get the mini's. And make the tip smaller.
