If I had a decent camera, 1080P, I would! We'll just have to wait for MrOutlaw to get going again. Besides, who wants to see my ugly phizz yammering about anything?

ME! For one! You give great advice and instructions... seeing them would be Awsum! (pun intended) ;) Besides... it would be good to have more than one perspective AND... YouTube is large enough to have both you and Mr. Outlaw... whose video I'm anxiously awaiting by the way. Just my :2c:

DOH!!! I never thought of that. I have 3 bottles of juice I can't stand, about 25 ml. I can't let it go to waste. And I agree on the mouth piece colors as well.

the T3s are big enough that you can add good juice to that which vapes like dirty socks - and still pull airy draws to avoid the yak. Whipped cream from mt baker is a good one.. goes with everything - well maybe not bacon...but then again.... it's Bacon!

The biggest problem I’m having with T3s is that after I’ve used a coil for a couple of weeks, it starts turning my juice really dark. No amount of rinsing or dry burning helps much. I have three coils that still vape just fine, but I don’t use anymore because the last ½ ml has turned real dark and tastes bad. I’m going to get some vodka to see if that will resurrect my “dead” coils.

Two weeks without rinsing at all? That's a long time if I understand you correctly. I rinse after the 2nd refill... under hot water. Going today to get some vodka to soak and clean more thoroughly. I guess cheap is ok? Don't know anything about the type to get.

I rinse the coil every two or three days, and dry burn about once a week. When I dry burn, I replace the two small loose wicks with one piece of 2mm wick.

I don't think it matters how much you pay for vodka unless you're planning to drink what's left over.

Thanks. Tried dryburning one time and totally :censored: it up. Scared to try again. Hopefully the vodka soak will be enough.

I know what you mean... I just tried to dry burn a CE3 [last survivor in my original pack]. It has lots of gunk, so after rinsing as much as I could, let it dry over night. Using a fresh battery, it imediatedly glowed red on 1 side for about 1/2 a second, and died. I was more than a little perturbed. I got 20+ fills on it so, not too bad... but that was the most I got out of any of them. I just opened a new pack, and hope these last a little longer.

I've read in the forums that everclear is a good cleaner. It should be, because it can certainly clean your clock if you drink it!!!!

I'm a habitual rotator as well, so I rinse the tank and head before every fill. I haven't tried cleaning the coil itself yet. I've got a fistful of replacement heads for both my X2s and eGo VV batteries. I'm a klutz and a goofus and I'm pretty sure I'll ruin the head if I try to clean the coil before seeing a comprehensive, detailed video. So I'll wait until I'm down to my next-to-last head to give that a try.

Although, come to think of it, cleaning the coil in a T3 should be the same as cleaning the coil in ANY tank, right? I know Mr. Brusardo has videos on that....

I have mixed thoughts on dry burning. Yeah, it'll get some of the gunk off but just a little too much "burn" and the wicks start to provide such a lovely, funky taste. Go a little further and you have a "long", opposite of a short and it's useless. Other than the burn with water in the wicks when I've refilled from cleaning, I don't bother any more.

Does burning the head with no tank attached to any good? Like I said, I'm leery of disassembling a head but I've considered just screwing one on and giving it a zap to see what happens. Does the top bit (I'm blanking on what that part is called just now, the short tube just above the wicks) need to be off? I guess it does, otherwise whatever moisture is released by the coil is just going to condense right back onto it.....

I don't know that dry burning does any good. Yes, you can take the air tube and the loose wick off the coil to dry burn it, but so far, mine have cleaned up like new with just a rinse. You can dry burn it assembled, but you can't see the coil very well, if at all, but that's pretty close to the same situation on a top coil clearo.

The working innards of a T3 remind me of CE3's. The base holds the coil and wick, and connects to the battery. Above it is attached the metal tube for inhaling the vapor through the fluid chamber. To dry burn, I like to have the little pipe off, so it is just the base with coil, directly connected to the battery. This way, I can see the coils very well. It works great on CE3's, and assume it will on the T3, when I get to that point. The T3 has extra wicks that pull right off which I really like.
