I cleaned up my desk, so my clutter is gone for now. I have 13 flavors on my desk. Most of them are about empty. Waiting for SI to restock Cowboy in higher mg and will reorder a few bottles.

I ordered a twist. Looking forward to playing with different voltages. I was trying to tell myself no to the purchase, but I wanted to see what the rave is all about on these things. I just hope I ordered the right tanks and stuff. I'd be upset if I couldn't try my new toy out!

I really don't need another battery at this point and now another charging device! I've got dongles all over the house now as it is with 3 different battery setups!

I certainly cannot answer the question "Am I really saving money?":smokie:

This e-cig stuff has become a full-on hobby for me. I'm not an ex-smoker; I'm in this for the flavor. I had a total gastrectomy about two years ago and have been struggling ever since. Total gastrectomy=NO STOMACH. I have a small "reservoir" made from a loop of my own intestines that my esophagus empties into. This was all done as a "cure" to a rare stomach disease.

This has obviously led to many complications, many unforseen. I stumbled into e-cigs as a way to TASTE things without eating. And it has really helped me a LOT in that regard. So I'm always chasing the flavor dragon, heh. This led me down the path of 808 cigarette style batteries that most folks start with, to where I am now; a growing collection of variable-voltage Twist-style eGo and 510 batteries, and the T3 as THE BEST flavor delivery device I've yet to encounter!

I've been told I need to look at dripping, but that seems to be quite a hassle. I need to spend more time in those sub-forums to figure out the best way to get started with that....I'm also eyeballing the Anyvape CVI as my first "mod."

So yeah....clutter. I gots it.

I'd go insane just trying to manage that. lol

Variety might be the spice of life, but if you do it right, you only need 1.:D

and that one would be a dripping atty??? for flavor changes on the fly, right?

I have about 10 clearos going.. 4 T3s, a crap load of nanos and almost as many cartos with the soft tips on em.. like those chewy tips I do

Ok, before I come across as a completely .... retentive anti clutter freak..
On my desk, I have 2 computer monitors, blu-ray player, hd/dvr, 5 speakers, all in one printer, cable modem, router, battery backup, and the computer tower. 3 remotes, 2 cups of water, a sandwich container full of almonds, a flashlight, my keyboard and mouse, extra wireless mouse I never use, big vanilla candle, camera, and

my ecig stuff. Finally.. an angry bird sits on my speaker. The 5 drawers are filled with STUFF. In one of those drawers is my Volt starter kit box filled with old batteries and fresh clearo's.

How about that?

Edit to add: Btw, my 3 ecig bottle ARE 3 different flavors. lol
Edit: Actually, 6 speakers!

Yeah... but the only thing that screams out to me in the midst of all that is just.... 3 whole bottles of 3 different flavors!! 8-o

I try to keep things simple. I don't want to get into it too deeply on a public forum, but I'm in a position where I have to ask for able bodied people to do things for me much more often than I'd like. I'd kill for the use of my fingers. Think about that next time your typing something:p That said, I've still figured out how to refill my clearo's on my own, and to use a manual battery 1 handed! It took 2 hands for me to flick a lighter. I despise asking for help. I'd rather take 15 minutes doing a 2 second task, than ask for help.

zip- sorry to hear about your GI problems. I hope it gets better. I have my own 6 year battle(unrelated to the issues above) with an incurable, undiagnosable plague that has 0 adverse effects other than feeling like I'm going to puke 24/7 but NEVER do. One sip of water feels like a guzzled a gallon. It is nice to taste something w/o worrying about if it's going to hit me like a ton of bricks.

Today, I noticed I bit a hole in 1 of the clearo tips I've been using.. I use my teeth to unscrew it so I can fill them. It still hits fine, but looks like I'm closer to T3 use, and less T3-envy. I've already been practicing ways of refilling them w/o spilling:)

Cody, sounds like you've got it rougher than I do man. I gripe and complain a lot, but I could be in a MUCH worse position. The state I'm in now is about as good as it gets. I'm not entirely happy with that, but that's the way it is. I would be up the proverbial creek were it not for my family and a handful of really good friends. Vaping does indeed let me sort-of enjoy food the way I used to. I miss texture....although some vapes are nice 'n heavy, while others are light. It's nice to chew every once in a while though.....

LOL, guess that's why we say YMMV.

I've only been doing DIY juice for a week, and I've already made 15 different flavors. And I like ALL of them except 1, which I am allowing to steep for awhile. No way could I ever, ever, ever see myself using only one flavor.

Yep, variety IS the spice of life. :rickroll:

(I even require variety for my emoticons.)

Sounds like me.... I'm on the verge of going DIY myself. Only been vaping 3 months, and it seems like a big step to take... but I've been saving my bottles [7 30ml, 1 15ml, 14 10ml, & about 20 5ml]. As soon as my stock runs low, I'm gonna bite the bullet and go for it. Gonna stick with the 1 flavor recipes to start. I definitely need variety in my juices.

Thanks for that. I do the best that I can but I do have valleys of depression. Like I think I said somewhere else in these forums, this is NOT where I planned to be at 36. So any little thing that helps me to forget how rotten things are is a big plus in my book.

Cody & Zip, I don't know what to say except that I admire how you've handled your issues (which would have overwhelmed some, for sure). I'm glad to hear that vaping has provided at least some small comfort.

Thanks, moonstruck. I just take life as it happens.

What's happening now is these T3's are proving difficult for me to fill. So far, it's either make a liquid mess, or shred my lips on the knurled part. I'm glad the clearo's are treating me well.

Using a syringe to fill the T3 could be easier to use. Also the needle tip Nicquid bottles make it easier to fill then the regular eliquid bottles, or perhaps using an eyedropper if you have one handy.

I'm sure you've already run through every idea but maybe you can get a rubber band around the knurled part to create some padding for ya.

After about two weeks and going through two tanks (sometimes 2.5) every day, I had to ditch a head and use a replacement. This one gurgles. First two drags are fine, then it starts gugrling. Still getting good flavor and vapor, but if I don't give it a rest, it'll spit some juice up the air tube. That kinda sucks!

Got curious (and bored) and I've got some backup heads now, so I removed the top of the head to see the exposed wicks. They look fine. Took those off and got down to the coil. This is the first time I've done this so aside from pics online, I didn't really know what to look for. There seemed to be a gap in the winding, right in the middle. Out of sheer curiosity I replaced everything except one wick and put it back together. No new problems, but the gurgling persists!

It's not a huge problem so I'll probably run this one 'til it croaks anyway. Taste and vapor are still great! Just hafta remember not to "power vape" unless I want to DRINK the #@&! juice, heh.

I can't remember if you were able to use the CE3s or not....if you WERE, then I bet you'll come up with a solution
for the T3. Much as I liked the CE3s they were kind of a pain in the tookus to refill even when they were working perfectly.
Good luck brother!

I'll definitely be troubleshooting. I didn't mention it in my cluttered desk post, but I have a piece of rubber for jars and bottles on my desk too. lol

I never used the CE3's. I hate needles in general, and I just didn't want to fiddle with them.

Mission: accomplished.

Definitely too airy on my auto's. Without plugging air holes, I could barely get any vapor. Plugged 2 of them and voila!
Hits like a beast on a manual without plugging air holes. Took a couple hits with 2 plugged air holes, and I definitely have that "time to stop vaping" feeling. lol

Thumbs up!

Thanks everyone for the help!

diy is not hard. there are plenty of online calculators so u can easily calculate the measurements you want for flavor and nicotine percentages and PG/VG ratio. not counting the bottles and mixing equipment, it costs me about a buck per 10 ml. i only make one flavor (plus additives like ethyl maltol) mixes. this way i can be sure any necessary steeping occurs before i mix it with another flavor. u can get everything u need at great prices at wizard labs.

dripping is easy, u already have a twist so all u need is a 510 atty and a drip tip. it is great for switching flavors without a lot of equipment. it is an essential tool for diy. atty quality seems like a crap shoot. i have had one last less than an hour and others last for months. i'm thinking about going with a rebuildable atty so it would only cost a few bucks to replace a fried atomizer.
