WTF? Calling him out? I asked a very simple question, with no disrespect or even sarcasm. The thread that was posted on would be *highly inappropriate to discuss this on. I moved a quote so as to NOT be a jerk and then I get slammed?

Tallgirl, you essentially did "call him out" when you put Tropical Bob's screen name in the title of this thread.

You may have what you think is an issue with Tropical Bob, but to put a forum member's screen name in the title of a thread, no matter which forum it's in, is inappropriate and I'm surprised that it's allowed.

Tallgirl has made it very clear that she would be happy to have the thread title changed, and has made it very clear what debate she hoped the thread would provoke.

Couldn't we just accept that and discuss the "China thing"?

The use of his name was to simply direct his attention to the thread. There was obviously no intent to 'call him out'. I've been using forums since 1985 and have never seen a forum that had a problem with using a screen name in the title.

Drama or not .....I think I would run and hide if tallgirl decided to start a thread with my name in the title.....she is a formidable person...lol. (I do mean that in a nice way tallgirl)

Either way, TBob has shown he can easily support his positions. Without the distractions this could have been a really good thread.

Well after reading the entire thread, it seems to me TB replied to the extent he is going to. So this thread asking him a question has been answered. So I am going to close it.

But...please feel free to start a new thread about Chinese products/safety, or whatever else was of interest here.
