Anyone getting a lot of condensation has it underwicked. I had that the first time I built the v1. That's user error. So are some of the other issues. I agree with CC.

Ok, built mine tonight. I'm running dual stacked 2.5mm coils, 27g, 8 wraps each for about 0.6 ohms.

Some comments:
1. Airflow is significantly tighter than my v1. Partly the smaller bore drip tip, but partly the insulator? Not sure, but I lunghit the v1, but am M2L on the v2.
2. No whistling :). My v1 sounds like a plane taking off.
3. Better machining all the way around.
4. Drip tip fits much better and is very comfortable.
5. Love the grub screws. No wire cutting issues, but that's easily remedied by sanding screws and Dremeling post holes.

Very pleased all the way around.

Some coil pics. After I took these I did raise my coils a tad as I was too close to the airhole.

I have the spinning 510 pin issue, but I don't really care about that. The condensation under the drip tip however drives me crazy. It's a very nice clone overall, but the gurgling started just minutes after building it, and there was a pool of liquid under the drip tip (but none in the base.) I had flashbacks of the eXpromizer, and I just put the thing down. I was using the stock drip tip, maybe a different one will help it, but it never helped with the eXpromizer.

I posted the following over on the FT forums, thought I would post here for those that don't visit the other place.

ID of airflow path is 3mm all the way, chimney, is very slightly over 3mm, deck is a tight 3mm. Appears to be plenty of room to increase the chimney as it is fairly thick.

On to the uneven wick channels.

when you assemble the chamber, and wick ring there are wide portions to the chamber, and the wick ring. If you assemble wide part of the wicking ring to the narrow part of the chamber you end up with probably about 1.5mm gap on one side, and closed on the other.

If you assemble narrow to narrow and turn the ring clockwise you end up with maybe .3mm gap, and closed. Assembling correctly the difference is very little, and not enough to effect wicking in any way. I also pinch the cotton just enough to feel a little resistance when closing up the channels, any more and it will not wick enough to keep up, any less and you risk leaking. I've left mine sit for a few days, no leaks, I've pocket carried it, no leaks.

Speaking of leaking, after running a couple hundred ml through mine, varying the coil height, rewicking it multiple times here is what the lower deck looked like inside. You'll notice in the below pics very little condensation, not a single drop leaked on to any of my mods.

Anyone that has/had leaking (condensation)issues I'm willing to bet that either they had tank seal issues, or simply user error.

Both images are after 200+ml with no cleaning, or leaking. Minimal condensation, actually better then most of my other atomizers.

GearBest has both the clear and frosted replacement tanks but it seems a lot people tend to stay away from them. I've only ordered from them twice and did not order the Ubertoot clone from them but both items arrived okay.

I've avoided them since the Ataman II preorder (which was my only experience with GB). It took forever and many communications to get my refund. I'll wait awhile to see if FT gets them, but if they don't, I'll try GB I guess. I love my Ubertoots so more plastic tanks would be nice, but I can go to metal if I have to.

IBTanked will do custom dimension pyrex tubes and they have a wide range of colour options. Get your calipers out and take some measurements!

Unfortunately without some major changes that would require a bit of machining and new parts that is not possible, tanks need to be threaded on each end.

Well, I have one UTA2 on order. When it arrives I will check it out as to whether threading is required. I ordered from them before for beveled cut. I for get what tank it was. Anyway, Whoever gets theirs first, Measure it. Second, confirm it. We don't want IBTanked to have slightly off numbers.
