I've also had zero problems with my V2, one of the few atomizers I use every day, if your not getting decent flavor look to your build, it does not do well with straight Kanthal larger then .26 gauge, seems to do best with with a 3mm coil about .8 ohms or so with a nice thick cotton wick just lightly pinched in place.

My brass 510 connector sits almost flush with the bottom of the 510 however i've had no problems with it did you give it a go?? Obviously it would be problematic in a mech but in all my VW devices it works fine no shorts or issues...... shame that the spare does not work

i'm still using my UTA v2 FT clone every day now as an alternate vape pretty happy with it these days but dont feel the need to get another however....... I personally don't mind the slightly more open vaping experience nice middle ground between MTL and DLI tanks at least for me
Yes, I did try brass pin and the ohms were jumping all over the place. Changed to SS and it came out to what ohms should be. Update: seems to be working better. I used 26g Kanthal 3mm & it came out to .8. Then wicked with koh gen do and flavor is spot on. Thanks for the advice! Does anyone know what kind of screw the 510 is?

Shouldn't it just short if the 510 was not working? Ohms jumping I would have thought meant a poor insulator or one of the screws under the deck not fully screwed in..... Anyway glad the new setup is working im running it pretty much the same!

Man just looked at mine its leaked everwhere it never did that before must have shifted the cotton when refiling

It's pretty prone to leaking if the wick isn't perfectly filling the whole gap. Nowhere near as bad as my Squape RS clone but it's temperamental.

I've been using 24g SS with a 3.5mm ID just to get as much cotton in the gaps as possible.

Same here. Refilled last night went to bed & this morning pretty much the whole tank was empty. That was about the 3 or 4th refill. Anyway, I may just write the Ubertoot off & get rid of it. If anybody wants a second one pm me. Don't want to get rid of stands but the I will probably sell the rest at a good price

Honestly it was a good thing it started leaking I took it apart last night and the build was covered in gunk it was so gunky that it had started breaking off the coil and the whole chamber was covered with gunk lumps..... Thats one constant vape like i noticed a difference before the leak but i didn't think it would be that bad lol!

Unior I also notice one thing when putting it back together my 510 connector pin is not really stopped by the insulator i can easily over tighten it right into the base, I think you might have accidentally done that.... Secondly regarding the ohms shifts your post screws might not be properly in take the screws out remove the insulator screw in the negative screw the put the insulator over the top and then screw in the positive screw this might help! note also some people get a build up of condensation in the base that needs to be cleaned out to stop ohms shifts as well i believe!

Just wanted to report that I got my v2 clone from FT and it's working flawlessly. My v1 Ubertoot vaped well but this is even better! The wick now goes straight through the coil to the offset slots without bending around the posts and air bubbles no longer get trapped against the inner wall of the tank. I feel no desire to acquire the original UTA for five times what this clone cost. Feeling very content and peaceful tonight :)

I figure the Toot will be about the same air flow as the Tilemahos.

If your referring to the Tilemahos clone the UTA V2 has quite a bit more air flow.

Got my spare tanks from Gearbest, first order from them which did not have something broken or missing, they did however take the proverbial slow boat to get here, no surprise though. Unfortunately no other seller offered them that I found.

They have spare plastic tanks? I guess I'll have to get some. Geez, I hate GB though.

Tanks appear to be OEM from Coppervape, I've not had one break yet, but I absolutely hate not having spares.

I loathe ordering from them, ships in 3-5 days translates to a minimum of 10 working days, customer service ticket wait time is measured in weeks, not days, 6 of 7 orders from them I've made since February have had missing and/or broken items. Bottom of the China barrel in my experience.

Finally got mine from GB...16 days. Tracking showed it still in China but it showed in my mailbox today. 26 ga, 3mm coil, 6 wraps. 0.98 ohms. 22 watts, nice vape. Rich flavor, and plenty of it. Airflow wide open. Almost the same as the Tilemahos v2 for airflow, maybe a bit more, but if so it is very slight. Same setup on both and I am going to give the Tilemahos +2 on flavor. Uber gets +1 on vapor production. But since I have only had the Toot for about an hour we will see as my builds improve. No leaking. Set up fairly easy. Although the Tile is easier to me. Having to deal with 3 separate removable parts just to put in a coil? Hmmmm. I have to rewick every day since I use NET juices. Could be more than I want to mess with daily. Got a GEM clone coming, we will see how that compares. Right now a dual coiled Aqua v2 and the Tilemahos are my two fav's for a great balance of flavor and vapor production. I was doing the sub ohm thing (Crown, Delta II, TV4,etc.) but really found flavor was less with the increased airflow and all the cloud chasing. Gonna re-app those units. I prefer to build my own coils as well. The Toot is a nice unit so far though.

Refine your build on the UTA, the Tile has nothing on it in the flavor department, carefully cut the edge of the insulator down which blocks about a third of the potential air flow. Personally not a fan of the Tile, too restricted on air flow for me. It is possible the Tile may be better with Nets, I'll have to break some out and try it, but with everything else the UTA is my daily driver for single coil atties.
