Every time I think i've got it all figured out and am ready to order I find another thread that points me in a different direction!

I found this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/madvapes/127262-about-low-resistance-specific-batteries.html

Which states that if you use LR atty's on ego's or riva's it could kill ur batt a lot quicker because they're not made for LR attys/cartos.

SO, it recommends using no lower than 2.5.

Here's the prob, the riva kit i'm ordering from liberty flights either comes with 2.0 cartos or a 2.2 atty. Are these ok to use?

You guys are great!! I'm directing all my friends who want to learn about the e-cig to this forum bc I know they'll get all the help they need lol

Yes...those will be okay. The 2.0 cartos are sorta middle of the road (a really low resistance is 1.5 and a regular is about 3.0. The 2.0 is fine for the Riva. I'm sure the atty is fine, too...I'm not sure how low that is (versus normal) but I've used LRs on my Riva and they do fine. I know you don't want to mess up your battery....but since they're including it in the kit, I'm assuming they (LF) think it's okay, too. Go for it.

2.5 Ohms is the norm for standard attys. 2.0 Ohms is the lowest you want to go with LR atty's on an eGo. I know other people will tell you that 1.8 is fine, but I won't agree. eGo and Riva batts use a MOSFET type switch that can be damaged by using LR attys. It might also affect how long the battery will last. If you're getting it from LF then if something goes wrong they should cover you.
