¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So the reshipped package went from ISC NY to Queens distro this time instead of Jamaica distro. Today it arrived at at the distro 100 miles away from me, so I should get it tomorrow as it will leave there tonight most likely and be in my mailbox tomorrow, as usual.

The original problematic shipment that went to the Jaimaica NY distro has no change in tracking. Went back to China and still there as far as I can tell.

Reshipped package just delivered. Customs declaration is "Heat Replace Parts".

That's kind of accurate, and yet disguised quite well, lol.

My first order of the bunch still hasn't been updated since the 26th (USPS tracking). Last known location was departing Beijing. The original tracking from Han Hua Logistics still shows Cancellation of Overseas Imports on the 21st. I don't honestly know who has this package at this point.

2nd order was last updated on the 27th. Han Hua Logistics tracking shows "SHENZHEN, out of warehouse" and hasn't been updated since. I just emailed the vendor to ask for a USPS tracking number.

I also put in an order at fasttech on the 3rd during their 10% CNY sale, which was hokey since they're now running a 12% sale on top of the 3% from their gift cards. Anyway, the final part of that order is supposed to be available today - hopefully that doesn't get pushed back. Will update when more info is available.

Edit: I just updated the order from fasttech and the 5 wire clippers I ordered has been pushed back to the 16th. Nothing we haven't experienced in the past with them. Oh well.

As you are probably already aware, FT ETAs jump both ways. Could be tomorrow it changes to "Ready to ship". I've had ETAs go 1 and 2 weeks out and then BOOM, ready to ship. It's become a form of entertainment for me anymore.

Yep. This is why I'm convinced they have separate warehouses holding their products, and a central warehouse they ship everything to, to be packaged and sent out.

As I understand it, FT doesn't warehouse much, just the fastest moving products. They actually pick products up from manufacturers daily when they have enough products to pickup from one manufacturer. So if they get enough orders overnight from the manufacturer of the product that you bought that is restocking, it will be ready to ship by the next day even if the ETA was 5 days (or whatever) the day before. There was a thread about this many years ago on the FT forum but it seems to have been purged from the server as well as many other old, useful threads during the somewhat-recent site revamp. Shame.

So far more than 99% are getting through. With hanky-panky customs declarations and millions of packages coming in daily from China from Amazon, Ebay, wish, AliExpress, etc., US customs and USPS doesn't have the manpower to catch most of what comes through. Keep in mind they are also busy searching for narcotics and other contraband, as well. I doubt it'll ever get to the point that 50% of vape packages are confiscated. We just had an unlucky run where 2 ECFer's were confiscated at the same time. To protect yourself, never make large orders. Several small orders is better.

What a great idea! I’ll have to try and remember that for my next overseas purchases.

I sure hope this thing has a LifeLine wrapped around it.
I've forgotten where it was, but just a couple weeks back someone posted a shipping status notification snapshot like this, and it basically said "Your parcel was lost at sea". Like it fell off the boat.
