USB Passthroughs - do they die quickly?

Did I mention that I love V4L? Leaford's pics of the lab in China are nifty... never found the followup ones, though... (love the lanyard, too, Leaford.)

My PT just died... 10 minutes after posting that... just a few days old. It just sort of stutters. I have my extra one going but weep...

the new passthru on V4L site says manual... like, with a button? on a PT? not thinking I'd like that so much... <----- sad lovemuffin

I'm definitely getting a black manual PT. Yesterday I couldn't get my PT that I got from my kit to work at all 8-o. The new ones look beefy and very durable .

Yikes, just placed an order for the manual one on your site, Steve! Sent a "hold that order" with explanation and re-request reply to confirmation email. So sorry!

The new PTs are in, but just in black manual I believe.

The first of the new passthroughs (which will probably be called the Vapor King Passthroughs, instead of my suggestion, the Leaford Passthroughs ) rolled off the assembly line today, and will ship first thing tomorrow morning!

They have a sturdy multi-flex connector on the battery end, a shock absorbing and length extending flexible coil on the USB end, and a stiffer and more durable cable. All and all, the most durable regular e-cig sized passthrough on the market!

I've been using the prototype I got for a couple weeks now, and it's great!

The first ones are manuals, in black and white, but the autos and other colors will be rolling out soon, too.

My new and improved manual PT that I received on Feb. 15 just died on me today. Dead dead dead...

I still have one of my original passthrus from way back last year...still works like a champ.
