The first of the new passthroughs (which will probably be called the Vapor King Passthroughs, instead of my suggestion, the Leaford Passthroughs ;)) rolled off the assembly line today, and will ship first thing tomorrow morning! :thumb:

They have a sturdy multi-flex connector on the battery end, a shock absorbing and length extending flexible coil on the USB end, and a stiffer and more durable cable. All and all, the most durable regular e-cig sized passthrough on the market!

I've been using the prototype I got for a couple weeks now, and it's great! :D

The first ones are manuals, in black and white, but the autos and other colors will be rolling out soon, too.

Drat! :(

I discovered a problem with the IC chips in the new passthroughs just in time to prevent them being shipped out. They all have to be redone, which will delay the first shipment at least a day or two. Sorry guys, but we want them to be right the first time.

Really interested in trying their passthrough's... I've had PT's from other companies and sources with alot thiner wires... they usually died and crapped out on me (I assume their wire is thicker from the pics and user reviews)

I do have a question though (can't make a thread new member! =))

I ordered the Ultimate Ultimatum kit and from the cached webpage as well as some user reviews I noticed a USB Passthrough was included in the kit (the largest one you can buy) but on the website it doesn't list one as included... (I attempted to add one to my order but to my dismay they are out of stock atm) Am I getting one anyway they just never mentioned it? Did any of you order the kit and receive one? I also noticed in the Shorty Ultimatum kit one is PICTURED as included but not listed.. kinda throwing me for a loop =)

*tears welling in my eyes*

Sorry, friend, but it's hard to include something that we don't have. ;) But like Milky said, we'll send you an extra-long battery instead if you order the UU kit now, or if you wait a little while you can get one of our new, improved passthroughs with it.

Either way, don't cry, our goal in life is to keep you SMILIN! :D

One other thing to keep in mind - that 3rd battery will definitely not go to waste. Always make sure to have a backup

And if you look at the track record of most people that frequent the forum, the chance that you'll be ordering again soon after getting your kit if pretty high. By that time I'd imagine the new PTs will be either in stock, or just about.

I have 3 brand new, never used auto PTs. I'm more than willing to send you one if you like.

Just PM me and we'll set it up. No charge to you. :)

PawPaw, that's so generous. Thought I was reading a post from JenJen for a second. Must have something to do with the double name. You guys are so helpful.

Aww you guys it's no big deal I am actually SMILIN especially if I can hold out for a V2... And Pawpaw that is so nice of you.. I really appreciate the offer... dun worry about it =) Thanks guys!

I really don't mind. They're probably not ever going to be used. You see, I have this addiction... I have to have one of everything V4L sells. When the new PTs come in, I will be ordering 1 or 2 right off the bat.

I've already done the superglue fix on these. The only time they were out of the package. I have 2 black single-logo autos & 1 black multi-logo auto. Just pick one.

Think of it as adopting a homeless dog or cat! ;)

Thanks for the kind words, calla.

SO any more word on the PTs? I'm getting ready to place a pretty good sized order but this is one of the reasons I've been holding off. I really want a PT this time around (actually thinking of ordering 2 lol) Also I've read a few places here and there where some users suggest it's a bad idea to use the PT in conjunction with your computer. Anyone have any ideas or concerns about this?

No concerns whatsoever. Just unplug it when you leave it unattended. This applies to whatever you have it plugged into.
