Possible to make? Depends on what you mean by serviceable, but I would assume that if built right it could have swappable coils or something. Its just that the more you make it to come apart the more likely it will accidentally. I don't think it'd be difficult for a company to produce an atty that would allow you to slide off the covering and access the core, would just take an extra set of threads to hold the outer covering on instead of whatever they are using now.

Valid question, I think eventually we will get there. the problem is that well this is a pretty new thing we have in our harnds here. There is a lot that need to improve and if you look at the market now compared to 1 or 2 years ago then you will notice that Great strides have been made.

I think the question is valid too due to the apparent state sponsored vendetta against e-cigs.
Obviously it makes good business sense to produce disposable atties, but there may well come a time when we need a long life atty that is serviceable and guaranteed for a length of time. I think the time has come for manufacturers to look at the long term picture. There may not be a repeat market for serviceable atties, if they are by definition 'built to last', but there will always be a market for batteries and consumables that cannot be banned (PG, VG, PGA, flavours, etc).
I would continue to vape without nic IF I had to. Therefore security of hardware is needed.
