Using unfrozen year old nic

One of my co-workers is offering me a 100ml bottle of 100mg/ml nic for 20 bucks. The thing is that she never put it in the freezer. She kept it in a dark cabinet in her basement. It's a really good deal but I'm a little nervous about using year old nic that was never frozen. Would you buy it?

Basements are normally cool. Shelf life normally a few years. Should be fine!

Yep. Nicotine does not degrade very quickly and storing it out of light is probably more important than putting it in a freezer (where it will not freeze anyway).

I don't know the chemistry, but I recall someone testing and finding slight decrease in the Nic concentration (so it might be 98 mg/ml), which isn't much of a problem. On the other hand, $20 for 100 ml isn't that much of a bargain...
The Nic everyone lately has been saying is the absolute very best quality is from Vapers Tek, and $20 gets you 120 ml (yes, there's shipping cost too...).
Anyway - I don't think there's any safety issue - pretty sure it can't "spoil". If it's unopened, and I needed it, I'd probably buy it...

I haven't bought nic in so long so I hopped on over to RTS and Nude (Wizard is apparently closed temporarily) and it looks like I can get 120ml for about the same cost, but then there's shipping. I think I'll take her bottle. It needs a home.

Do what you think is best but I'd either offer like $10 or order 500ml of 100mg/ml Nic for $56.99 and 6 flavors for a total of $65.93 (free priorty mail shipping kicks in at Wizard Labs at $65.00). That breaks out to $13.19 per 100ml plus 6 free flavors with the added benefit of the Nic not being already a year old.
