This may be the first time it paid to be on someone's spam list. Mine are scheduled to arrive tomorrow!
It does pay off every once in a while. Still watching my email and feeds for any news on the new flask!

Mine will not be here until Saturday unfortunately. I paid for priority shipping, but due to a mix up mine was sent first class, and I'm on the east coast. That's how I ended up getting to chat with the owner, who issued a refund immediately.

Seems like alot of people are singing the praises of the TFV4 right now and I've heard some putting it over The Crown. I admit, it does interest me but I don't know about you guys, my Crown drinks enough juice as it is- I'm told the TFV4 really makes it disappear. That and the coils for it are like $25. As far as that goes, I will be ordering my first 4 pack of Crown coils soon (I don't build) and I'm still not sure which ones I'll get. Depends on the nickel performance which is the only one I haven't tried yet. So far the .25 is my favorite. I was disappointed in the 1.2 and the .5 dual is nice but I like the .25 better.

Nothing wrong with Crown, I use both tanks and at 90 watts they perform very similar (referring to the Crown .25). The TFV can take more power if you want to go there, in the range I stated they hog juice at about the same pace. :)

Just spoke to the owner of Premium Vape Supply. Apparently they had a total of 100 Black tanks. 40 were used for testers at ECC and 50 were given away as promotions. They had 10 left to sell on the site!

Ijs, I love this tank. I never thought I'd prefer a tank over my rdas, but I haven't really used an rda since I got my crown. Only time I use my rdas is to try a diy juice before I throw it in the crown. I thoroughly enjoy this tank. Everything about it screams awesome. Just wish I'd known it came in black! Those look amazing. But this tank is hands down my favorite tank.

How is it handling on the D2? Any issues?

It's working out great on the D2. I usually run the .5 coil at 50w, great flavor and nice vapor production. Performing about the same as it was on the SX Mini, only now I'm not concerned about putting it in my pocket or banging it around a bit. It's also quite a bit more compact and easier to change the battery. Seems to be exactly the set-up I was looking for. About the only thing I would like different, is I would like the option of dual battery version. Same height and thickness, just a bit wider to fit a second 18650 and 120-150w.

Rixsta, you must feel pretty 'cursed'. That must be an disappointment when there are so many successful and positive first efforts with the Crown. I have the TF4, the Crown, and two Lemo 2 units rocking right now. Since I do not spend the money on pre-made coils and just use RBA decks on all of them, I would give the Lemo 2s the head nod over the Crown and TF4 for my style of vaping. The deck on the Lemo 2 is large and easy to work with. Normally use Kanthal 26 ga., 0.6 ohm, 30-32 watts. Great flavor, plenty of dense vapor and just an easy to maintain tank. My only wish is that there was a way to break it down and get to the coil without draining the tank. Not a deal breaker. Easy top/side fill access.
I did enjoy the pre-made quad in the TF4, but I use NET diy juices and they tend to get the wicks pretty gunked after 15 mil of vaping. So I would be replacing one every 24 hours...too much $$$$. But the flavor of NET juices is far superior than artificial tobacco flavors.
I like the Crown over the TF4. The top fill is much smoother than the swing out system on the TF4. You almost have to take the tank of the mod on the TF4 in order to not put undue stress on the 510 when wrestling with the swing off top. But the coils I used from the box were pretty sweet. But high battery drain to run them at full wattage.

How would you say this compared to the Subtank by Kanger, not sure if I should grab two of these or a subtank and one of these in my next order.

I just sold off 5 Kanger Subtanks all easily replaced with Crown and TFV4, the only ones I held on to was the Nano's for a tiny battery mod set up I use super stealth. IMO Kanger is not even close in comparison (all though I do appreciate the small improvement with the vertical coils). A 1st gen Starre/Maganus tank IMO is an upgrade from Kanger. That is just my experience.

P.S. I think Kanger will come back with a supersized coil/top fill on their next models. For now they are making tons of money from their Subox kits, taking that Crowd who are stepping off their EVOD's.

Same, I followed your post and the first hit, gurgling and the tank with the 0.25ohm coil at 70w, the tank was red hot. Already sold it on, just not meant to be.

Sorry to hear Rixsta. At least you have your TFV4 that is working out and you still have the Starre Pro you had a good experience with.

That's funny. Over the past 2 months, I have done basically the same thing. 2 STM's, 2 ST Plus, Zephyrus, Lemo 2, Maganus, Starre Pro, Herakles, Matrix, Triton, and the TFV4. All sold or traded away. Some of them are excellent tanks. I just decided to simplify things and stock up on one coil. I'm very happy with everything about the Crown and don't see myself trying any more tanks. (at least until the next round of super tanks comes around. Cyclone anyone?).

Eyebrow raised on Cyclone but it does have that middle fill thing going on which has not proven great on some other new tanks but you never know.

TFV4 is still great but I'm going in a different direction as far as vaping is concerned soon so you may not see me around the Sub Ohm tank threads as much.
