I LOVE vaperoyalty >> Great people. *IF* you try anything else... definitely make it a TFV4 as of what is available as of today. I have tried and sold sooooo many tanks the past 8 weeks it is insane. I will edit my earlier post :), but we are here for ya.
Have you tried the Cyclone? I actually just ran across it browsing vape royalty, I wasn't aware of it til just now.

Did not make their top 5 tanks for 2015, was as complicated as the Starre Pro with the vacuum leaking they way I read it. I'm sure I will try and review one myself since I have used everything in their top 5.

There ya go. I have no interest in complicated tanks. Loved everything about my Starre Pro, except that damn valve. Forgot to close it once and had it open in pocket once.

All they (Uwell) need to do is go 7ML with a V2 .25 SS coil (about the size of the SMOK .15), keeping exactly the same top fill design. :) I hope Uwell does not booger up their next one like so many of these over engineered "new and improved" tanks from Freemax, Aspire and Horizon this past summer. It was over all... a let down.

The Crown and TFV were THE tanks this year. :) IMO of course :)

Ah, definitely agree on their reliability. I've been to their site a number of times.

I don't mind a little complication to a tank, though I will be skipping this one and going with the TFV4 simply because of their statements regarding the flavor, that's a huge turn off for a tank imo. I look for quality flavor, decent clouds, BIG on airflow, I hate a restricted vape, and then of course build quality is always nice. (All of which are reasons I originally went with the Crown LOL!! I'm actually still hopeful Uwell will get back to me with some crazy solution to the problem none of us considered.. slim chance but one can dream, cause this build quality is 2nd to none, and the flavor and airflow are insane (until my coil craps out in 15-18 hours and my issues with dry burn start back)

I will keep posted when/if I hear from them. Because I know there were a couple of others with my problems and whether it helps me or not it may help them.

Looking at that chart, only one thing comes to mind. " I wonder how that Silo Beast with a Herakles coil would perform?"

@FinchX , I may have missed it, but what mod are you using? I ask because I have noticed significant differences in wattage settings with mine. With my Yihi chipped devices, I can run the .25 @ 75-85w with no issues. If I put that same coil on my DNA 200, I have found that 55w is really about max before getting dry hits. With the .5 coils its 60w on Yihi and 45w on DNA. The Yihi chips just seem to read the resistance properly, where the DNA is reading them much higher. (.37 for the .25 and .64 for the .5).
I've tried them on 3 mods, my Sigelei 100+, my IPV3Li, and my SnowWolf 200W...

FinchX, I am convinced that the issues we are experiencing have to be due to something wrong with the tank itself causing a vacuum issue that prevents juice from feeding properly. I may order a 2nd crown to see if I experience the same issues. Nothing like throwing more money at a problem.
I already bought 3 that are doing this... lol. I'd give anything to figure it out though. I'm eager to.see if Uwell gets back to me, I'll definitely let you know what they say or recommend

My second Crown initially didn't work as well as my first.
The coil started gurgley and tasted "off" when it did start tooting well.
I checked all of the o-rings and the base-tank and the top-tank rings were both slightly twisted.
I was dubious that would make such a difference but adjusted them so they were "straight".
Fixed it completely.
Those thin ultra-flexible o-rings need to be perfectly straight on that tank.
I didn't check my other two Crowns because they work perfectly.

Tolerances will fluctuate between batches and even throughout a single production run.
@FinchX - Check your o-rings if you haven't already.
I hadn't thought to really scan the o-rings in detail. I always look when first opening a new tank to make sure they're in tact, but I did notice several of them are quite thin, maybe I need to go back and double check they're not twisted or anything. I may even replace them all just to be sure.

I did experience one of the TINY o-rings that are on the coils, just above where the threading starts on the bottom that screws into the base... one of mine on the 0.5ohm coils literally came off in my hand while I was priming the coil lol.

Grimm Green just did a rant on his dislike of the TFV4
Mine has never leaked, I say never, once but that was my fault, sometimes with just have these nemesis tanks, I had a similar experience with the Crown, I even gave it a third attempt, it gets super hot and gurgles like mad, no matter what I do, no priming, tried different coils, first hit, gurgling, every single time, high vg juice, higher wattage, you name it, I have tried it.. Not a single problem with the TFV4, vapes great.
Just his opinion based on his personal frustrated experience.

Are you using the drip tip that came with the Crown?

Yes, sorry for the delayed response. I read on a post on reddit where the owner said they had problems with a couple of drip tips so I went back to the stock tips

Ordered a crown and the rba from vaperoyalty. All this talk, man, I'm hyped son! How do the ni200 heads perform? Better than the SS or just as good or worse? How about the rba section? Any good?
Ill let you know on the RBA, not that it matter since you already ordered it. USPS claims it will be delivered today, probably tomorrow since it just got to the distro facility last night and hasn't updated to being at the local PO. Going to try a vertical build so I dont block off the airflow. Also want to order
Beadalon Round Wire 316L Stainless Steel 26 Gauge, 20-Meter
to build coils with since the coils are stainless and people say they are great. Someone said that wire should be fine to build with and at the price Im willing to try it

@FinchX - I sure as heck hope you can figure your issues out. I feel your pain and as for me it just bugs me.

I'm probably grasping at straws for you but my theory is that your coil was not properly broken in/primed and that goes beyond a ramp up of the voltage. Thus it vapes ok for say 20 ml but then stops wicking because its damaged which shortens the life of the head.

This video goes into great detail on how to prepare a new head for use. It's really .... /lol but it might help you and I found a few tips to help me.

For anyone else with the RBA deck, his other video on how to properly wick it is very helpful and fixed my issue.

Good luck!

:)

Update for anyone curious. I did speak with Uwell. They were very helpful in the sense of offering for me to send one of my tanks in to them for testing and if it was a problem I could send in my others and they would replace them. I won't be taking them up on this offer simply because I HATE waiting and anytime you send something in it works fine for the people inspecting it.

Interestingly though... I know for a fact they market their 0.25 coils as being in the 80-120 watt range. I mentioned having problems in the low 70s and he said that could be an issue and they recommend using it NO HIGHER than 70..?! Uhm... I'm sorry but no higher than 70?! I wouldn't have even bought this tank if the company itself told me they can't promise promise good performance above 70watts.

He also claimed anything higher than 65VG could be an issue at higher wattage. So basically he's telling me the opposite of everything I've read and what we've all discussed and agreed on...lol.

I'm at a total loss here now. I was actually telling myself "maybe they just had a run of bad tanks or coils..." and was going to order 3 more. Oh he also told me going through 30-40 ml in 24-30 hours was a bit much for a tank...

But now? I have no idea.. lol. I mean my cheap little VCT Pros can handle more than he's telling me I should be using. And I really want to figure this out, or if not just get the TFV4 but I'm still EXTREMELY reluctant to buy those because SO many complain about the juice

Sorry for typos been up all night and about to pass out

Where did they want you to mail it to? China?
