V2 510 adapter

On some atomizers, especially Bauway 510s or BE510s, I was having problems with them getting ruined if they were screwed on too far.
Theres nothing preventing you from turning them too tight... and in turn the center piece in the adapter that makes contact with the positive terminal can cave the batt end of the atty in.

Joye 510s didn't really have this problem because it seems they use a hard type of plastic or rubber for the grommet that seperates the negative and positive terminals on the batt end.

Anyway, I thought I'd just share. What I did was put another o ring in there. Now I can screw them on nice and snug without worrying about anything shorting out.

This is the very reason I quit using 901's and the biggest # 1 reason 90% of the original tact switches in the Prodigy and the Protege's failed (acred together).

Anything with a mechanical switch will just overload the battery to a direct short.

I got even farther away than 510's. I only use cartomizers now. No more worry about smashing the insulator and popping a switch or dead shorting out a battery.

Terrible design for new comers for sure. Bad enough for it to happen to someone with a little experience with the thingimabobs and whatsits...

Yeah it sucks because my fave attys to use on the Prodigy are the BE510 and Bauway 510... They completely destroy the Joye 510 in vapor production, but the insulators are made from silicone and just aren't as durable as the Joye's.

I don't know why they designed the adapter that way. It should be like a regular 510 batt where you can screw it on as tight as you want.
