That little space under the stairs under the first 3 riserd is a fine place for a body! Also if you pull the couch out from the wall and add a sofa table back there...
ALynn you are a smart girl..I am sure the smell wouldn't be an issue. Nobody has ever asked me where the 1st two hubby's went!

What I'd like to know, and I know it has been mentioned in these forums before, is why my batts (I can't even say all of them anymore - I have about ten) occationally cycle after I am done taking a drag. I believe I heard in these forums that it was some sort of 'cleaning cycle', but anytime a batt comes on by itself when I am not using it, I feel you're asking for trouble. I really don't know why this feature was designed, and in the case of the cutoff failing, having any type of 'auto anything' in these batts is, IMHO, a very poor design. I don't know if this 'feature' has been dealt with in the newer batches of batts, or if Leaford could give a good reason why (if it may be the case) this feature is still in current production. I am surprised no one has mentioned that in this post so far...

You know, that's something I haven't thought to ask about. Sometimes that happens with my batts too, but as you say, it's only occasionally. I don't think it's really the cleaning cycle, since that doesn't make sense to do that with batteries meant for cartomizers. I usually just assume it is a momentary glitch. When the engineers come back from their holiday, though, I will have to remember to ask them about that.

I don't remember where I heard that from, but it must have been somewhere in this forum (the only one that I have ever really frequented), but I thought it kinda odd at the time, because all I thought that would do would be to burn the cartomizer (without any air passing through it), which is obviously not a good thing, but it has been something that - while not frequent - definitely happens on a daily/ever other day or so basis, and I am so used to just unscrewing my carts slightly when it happens that I don't take much notice of it any more. I would like to know the real reason for it (or if it's a known 'glitch'), but unless there's a good reason for it, I still think it's a bad idea to have a batt engage when not actively in use...

I remember the thread you're referring to, vaguely. It's the same one where I note that I don't see anything like that in the code, and asked for clarification. At the time I had an incomplete picture of the firmware. Now... it's a bit more complete and I still don't see that.

I think you're seeing lack of debounce and too much noise.

The instructions that came with my manual VK had a note that it "self-cleans" every X-number of activations... the self-activation was making me jittery- thought the button was stuck, so i re-read the package insert. i'm no longer jittery about it, but it also doesn't seem to be particularly effective.
