This weeks contest is another simple one.
Make a post about the things you Love OR Hate about the Holiday Season.

Just be sure to number your entries and not make back to back posts.
Winner will receive a free economy polypropylene tank of their choice (or a $10 store gift certificate if they prefer).

Note: Contest is only for members with a US shipping address.

Rules:
Your entry posts MUST start with a number. (1,2 or 3 etc.) Please number your posts by day. (1-5 not 1-25)
The post must have substance though. Posts such as entry, or "count me in" etc will be ineligible for prizes
Only your 5 (per day) entry posts will be eligible for the prize drawing.
Un-numbered posts will be considered "Chit Chat" and not eligible for the prize.
Back to Back posting is NOT allowed for this contest.

Winner will be chosen by random number generation, based on the post number.

Contest will end Friday Night at Midnight Central time. Winner will be announced at the end of this thread.

1. I am convinced holiday music = panic music. It drives people into a shopping frenzy.

1. I hate the traffic to get in and out of shopping malls. I try to avoid them at all costs, but sometimes you need to go get things like paper, household goods and such. It's just nuts.

1. I hate crazy black friday sales that come in the middle of the month when I have no money. LOL

2. I do love this time of year, when I get to buy a nice tree. It makes the house smell amazing.

The thing I "like" about the Holidays . . .

The LIGHTS ! ! ! Especially the Light Shows to music . . .

I love the lights too. I also love the reaction when I go out in public and kids point at me and say "SANTA"!

I like the "warm fuzzies" when I think of Christmas' Past with family that is no longer around.

4. I dislike seeing holiday fruit cake in stores. Do people seriously eat that thing?

3. My wife's family has this fruitcake that's been going around for years through the family as a 'joke' gift. Yep, same fruitcake for the past... who knows how long. I think the date on it is the 80s. Anyway, we got it last year, so we have to wait a year or two and sneak it in as a gift to one of her siblings.

Is this something I love or hate about the holidays? I'll let you decide.
