I ordered nichrome from an unnamed and untested supplier on November 20th. This was a mistake.
They are an industrial power supply company and have nothing to do with vaping. I got shipping info on December 1st. And as of my last check, it still isn't in the postal system yet.
Sure, $6 shipped for 100 feet of wire is a bargain. But not if it takes 2 plus weeks to get here.

Got shots in my hip joint today, that stuff hurts, but then feels good, then hurts again.
I am also thinking of making a mod using some unused model aircraft model batteries, I will make a blog for it when complete with instructions, should be a variable 4-7.4 volt beast.

It has been warm here, 72 today, but in two days we are looking at rain and the 20's for the lows, messed up weather.
