On a rock floating through space
12/26 #1 anyone else notice its easier not to vape than it was not to smoke? ive been horribly sick today and borderline dehydrated. while ive wanted a vape here and there its been fairly easy to say "perhaps you ought to skip that for now" to myself. i know if i was still on the stinkies i would have been outside about every 1.5 hours worsening my condition. just a nice little bonus imo

I never vape at work anymore and am fine with it. I just vape now when at home after work and on weekends but then I chainvape.

3. I soooooo need more volts!! I'm vaping on an ego-t with clearos wishing it could, i dont know heat up more. And i think this means i need more volts or lower resistant stuff. But thanks to unforeseen expenses i have to wait to get a ego twist. I have to budget wisely. It's either cartos (badly needed and i like them better than clearos), a VVV polypro tank and maybe an atty(my first), or an ego twist. Well thats not a hard decision, but winning the lottery would be soooo good right now for this alone.

So question. Has anyone used a LR carto on an ego before? If so how does it vape?

#1 I have a twist and having issues with keeping it charged, seems like my clearos drain it within a couple hours. Heard it was supposed to last at least 8... I got the 650 mah, so maybe I should have gotten the 1000? Cartos don't seem to do much better, nor do the eGo-C atomizers. Did I get a bad twist? Or am I getting lots of defunk cartos/clearos. I've gone through at least 6 of each and I'm getting really disgusted with it all...

1. Hello everyone. I haven't been on for a few days as we had an early ...not so nice.... Christmas present. Early Christmas morning, we had a really nasty little thunderstorm come through with some high winds. Knocked out our electric and we just got it back early afternoon of the 26th. Not just that but it brought with it the cold front and it was really really cold with no electric. We are luckier than most though because we have a nice fireplace and husband kept me a big fire going, so me and the kitties did not freeze to death. LOL

Anyhow, good to be back. Today is doctor appointment day, so probably won't be back till much laters.

It's really hard to say how long a battery will last a person. It depends on how often you're using it, how long of a drag you take etc.
Some people get days off of the big batteries like I use (18650 w/ 2200 mah) I go through 3 batteries per day on average. I'm a very heavy vaper though.
It also matters if you're using low resistance stuff 2 ohm or so, vs standard resistance 3 ohm or so. SR will make a battery last longer.

Also, since you're using a variable voltage device, the higher the voltage setting, the lower the battery life will be.

I'm trying to remember what a typical usage is for a 650mah, I think it was roughly 6 hours and approx 300 puffs, but I may be wrong. I'd have to do some Google or forum searching to be sure.

#1 on 12/27/2012 - Morning peeps! Coffee made and vaping for my morning nic hit ensues! I am liking these little screws that Ray has on the sides of these polypro tanks! Easy to fill & easy to draw in the vape.

QUESTION: Some other tanks I have are hard as heck to draw on. Can I use a carto punch and open these holes a bit more? One I had to let sit for hours before the juice saturated the carto and I even added juice to the carto with a needle first.

Sleept like a log last night. After all that snow blowing and then shoveling yesterday... I'm a little surprised I didn't sleep more!

I won a 650 Twist in a contest some time ago. I love the darn thing, with one exception... The three hour vape time. If you run it over 3.7v, it's going to die faster. I usually use it around 4.2-4.5... so no, it doesn't last long. I've since gotten a big batt mod, so my Twist has been relegated to a back up / driving device...

#2 on 12/27/2012 - I've got 2 eGo Twists 1100mAh coming in... I'll be haunting the threads to make sure I get the voltage right but I guess I'd better figure out what this resistance stuff is about... I haven't got a clue except I am ordering all LR stuff, thinking it would be Low Resistance - the easiest to draw vapor from :p

Heh! I am a noodle head :p I have gotten both LR & SR cartos! I did find this though:

Low Resistance <2.5 Ohm
Standard Resistance 2.5-3.5 Ohm
High Resistance 3.5 - 4 Ohm or above
