Glassmanoak ask yourself what you use a computer for exactly and see if you can live with something simpler and less expensive. Perhaps a nice 10" tablet, or if you prefer a physical keyboard, a Chromebook. It's worth investigating, especially if you already make use of some online storage and spend most of your computing time online. Maybe you can get an inexpensive, shiny new device and forget your computer troubles.

Yeah sidewinders are pricy but your getting what you pay for!! A simple easy way to fill a beautiful tank! THe amount of time to fill a pyrex is literally cut 90 percent.. Pop off the screw and stick your bottle in.. DONE!

Chat:

Ok the Triple V Sidewinder 7ml Pyrex tank is $27.99 with just the Grommet caps but $7 more for silver caps. But the Triple V Pyrex 7ml Premium Tank is just $21.99 with silver end caps. That math for me just does not add up.

Btw can I see a pic of that last tank u posted a pic of on a SB?

My electricity went off during the night. When I tried rebooting I got the Blue Screen of Death 5 or 6 times. I called some Tech guys and was told to unplug the power cord for 30 sec. Since then, I haven't gotten anything.. no power at all.. so no more blue screen either. I'm gonna have to take it to Best Buy repair tomorrow :(

when u start your PC keep tapping F8 to get the a recovery menu and repair the BOOT UP. or something with boot in it.

Just a suggestion - especially if you didn't back-up everything for awhile - Bring an External harddrive with you . . . ;)

That way if they can at least start it up - they can transfer all your files to the Hard drive . . .

"My" Old Computer did the same thing your's is doing, just before it DIED completely . . . Thankfully - I did that and the computer tech person I brought it to was able to start mine up and get everything transferred, including the OS . . . :D

Just sayin' . . . ;)

Having the sidewinder hole cut makes it more expensive. I have a 7ml grommet pyrex and though I love it, would advise paying more and getting the sidewinder. The 7ml has a lot of pressure buildup when filling with a syringe between the grommet and glass. Much easier with a sidewinder.

Plus you get to say 'sidewinder'. That alone is worth more money, right?

But if u think about it the Sidewinder with silver caps is just like the Triple V Pyrex 7ml Premium Tank. its just that the riple V Pyrex 7ml Premium Tank does not have the fill hole. I cant justify paying $14 more for just a fill hole. In now way am I dissing the tanks @ all Im just saying does it really cost $14 more to add a hole to the Triple V Pyrex 7ml Premium Tank? I would pay $7 more for the hole tho

Is it of Ray's tanks?

#2

Sorry, I had to run out and mail a PIF that was WAY over due!
Anyways, yes, he re-reviewed Ray's tank! In the beginning, he said the regular tanks were ugly! :-(
But, he showed off the brandy new pyrex tanks that Ray has! Absolutely beautiful! The glass looks wicked thick and the ends are nicely polished. Other places would sell these beauties for an arm and a leg!

Here is the link for those interested:

Oh, he also said that he didn't know why anyone would want different colored o-rings... d'oh! Maybe you would want red caps with white o-rings for your peppermint juice?

Combine one of these with one of his tank fillers and you wouldn't have to slap around your mother any more! lol!

Hmm to each his/her own I suppose.. I have 2 but bought the caps separate because I bought em before caps came out.. It's worth it though.. I might even pick up a 7ml sidewinder eventually..

If you look at the thickness of the glass, maybe you would see why it costs more.... I would imagine it wouldn't be easy to get a hole through the glass properly.... I don't know, I am not used to working with glass! I think I would probably go without the hole and just use the tank filler.....

I bet it is hard to drill that glass. who knows maybe he is adding in lost.
