1/9 #3 This is my sisters computer so its still running windows 7 (ugh...) There is a bug in the bios that doesn't allow the extended capacity battery to recharge once it has been run to shutoff. There is a bios update (that clearly documents this problem as well as the dozens of people who had this same problem across the interwebs) that fixes this problem. But.... your battery needs to be at 20% or higher to run the bios update, regardless if its on wall power (which is the only way this thing runs now). So i called toshiba looking for a work around, some way of getting past that minimum battery charge to install the update. After over an hour on the phone I was told that my options were to buy a new battery (which will not fix the bios error. I can only hope the new battery comes with enough charge to fix the problem before it dies) or ship it in to have it fixed on my dime. This was after one of the top brass in the repair centre admitted that this was a well known design flaw that should not have left the factory like that. I'm not a fan of apple but I know they would have made this right and that really burns my banana

The math is simple, the caps cost $7 more on the tank than the grommets. If you compare the Economy 7ml Pyrex to the 7ml Premium Pyrex it's a $7 difference.
You're welcome to drill your own hole in the Pyrex
I base my price on my cost to get the glass drilled. It involves using custom made diamond coated tools.
Check oout my FAQ page on how to fill the tank. It will explain one way to properly prime a carto. There are others, but that one is pretty fool proof.
Whatever you use to fill the tank, be sure it doesn't completely fill the fill hole. There needs to be room there to allow air to escape or you'll flood the carto and have juice running out of the connector.

On a side note, even though I prefer Valley View Vapes' "big" tanks, I rarely fill them all the way unless I'm going out for the evening. Keep in mind that I'm usually juggling three tanks at a time, so that I have a variety of flavors.
In my experience, juice can start to get funky if left in a tank too long -- too much heating, cooling, and oxidization, methinks. One of the reasons I prefer the large tanks is that I have the option for a big fill if needed. Another reason is that there seems to a wider variety of XL cartomizers available. Anyone else buy the big tanks and only completely feel them when necessary?

but it can start tasting icky by the end, maybe that's why I prefer the smaller tanks. I do have an abundance of XL cartos tho that I stocked up on before I found VVV, now I keep running out of regular size. Maybe one day I'll see how many XLs I have and see about trading someone sometime. Hmmm.- Status
