If I broke the computer I would have another one up and running at my desk in half an hour... It is just sad that there have been over 10 communications to this person that they need to send it to a specific folder for it to get worked. 3 directly from me, 5 from our communications director, and 2 from their supervisor.

you could always throw your computer, then, you will mostly forget about your folder-email situation, b/c your cpu will be broke..
then hit MLT, which would make me feel better.
Im just being silly at this point...
disregard this nonsense

Judging by your s/n I am guessing you do production / on air?

Yup. I've dabbled in all aspects of the radio business... even spent a few weeks in sales (I tend to block that from my memory). Though my strengths lie in voice overs, imaging and commercial production. This gig is for their commercial production director... which I did in a top 25 market (23rd) for a decade. Akron is 78, so if you pardon my ego a moment, it should be a cake walk.

I was about to ask if it was going to be on-air, voice tracking, imaging or commercial prod. I worked for CC in Albuquerque for five years. Started off doing promotion and worked my way up to doing the wide range of production. Did quite a bit of board op for remotes, edits for shows ect. Then they went through and got ride of pretty much everyone who was not on air or under 35 hours a week about five years ago.

Yeah... I know how that goes! I was picked off in a round of lay-offs in July 2011.

It sucked, but I have never been bitter about it. Gave me the opportunity to do many great things I wouldn't have been able to do had I been employed... Most notably... coach my daughters softball team to a division championship!

I never had a problem being a Clear Channel employee... and would welcome the chance to be again. And I am not just saying that on the off chance the google me and find this post!
