1) Back from NAMM 2013. It was a fun show. Got to play lots of guitars that I can't afford (titanium electrics and graphite acoustics are sweet) and watch my brother play some jazz. I got a few video interviews done on tech-y items too. All that said, I fully admit that I missed the VVV crowd while I was away.

Yeah the fire was started by flares being shot off by the artists and caught the roof on fire... The front doors were locked, it is extremely sad. SXSW has a bunch of huge names but I think they still have something up their sleeve.

These are the artists I am going to try to catch while there - Popeska, Modestep, Tommy Trash, Baauer, Borgore, Crystal Method, Heroes X Villains, Major Lazer, DJ Bl3nd, Mord Fustang, Breathe Carolina, alien Ant Farm, Less Than Jake, Clutch, Icona Pop, DJ Yoda, Dirt Nasty, Skylar Grey, Kid Koala, MC Lars, and Third Eye Blind

some epic names on that line up!

Just had the pleasure of bringing out Bl3nd in november. dude has a great stage presence and is currently number 18or19 on the world djlist. not the best dj, most of it was premixed, but the set was BANGIN nonetheless. dude is about 5foot tall. (i got a pic of him without his mask!) guy is also a diva, you should see his rediculous contract!
Modestep, tommy and borgore i'd kill to see!

3) It was fun seeing musical instruments made out of non-traditional materials at NAMM 2013. I love graphite guitars. I got to play a few carbon fiber guitars. One of the most unique things I saw was a polycarbonate saxophone. My brother played it for a bit and was impressed. Of course it doesn't sound as good as a "real" sax, but it's 1/3 the weight and water resistance. It's a nice travel instrument.

Okay - I know this might be self-centered given everything that people have posted  . . . However, I just got back from "My" 3 month Lab Work Doctor's appointment . . . AND - Just have to tell Ya' all, I'm a little overjoyed with "My" results :D . . . Cholesterol Total: Down 20 Points (106 - used to be 249), especially cut Triglycerides down another 53 points (97 from 293) . . . Also - Blood Pressure use to be on average 125/80 is now 116/71 . . . AND - The best is my A1c (Diabetic Number): Drop a full point + From 7.3 to 6.0 (started at 9.0) . . . SO Overall - After fighting for the past 6 years to get these numbers down - NOT BAD . . .
(I just wish "My" body felt as good - "Ah the joys of getting older" does not help . . .)

This will be my third time seeing Borgore, guy is a blast and super down to Earth (at least when I was BSing with him). Crystal Method is a must see in my opinion just because of who they are. TT is one that I have wanted to see for a while. I'll have to look up Bl3nds rider lol. Modesteps live show is a blast as well. Baauer is new but holy .... can he do some Trap. Same with Heroes X Villians.

3-1: Not sure how we are actually supposed to number these things. It says do it like 1-5 not 1-25, so I am thinking they are saying 1-5 is fifth post on the first day? so this is the third day and my first post.

Ray, (read Vince for this week) has never been a real stickler on the numbers. As long as you number your entry posts (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5) for the day, resetting back to 1 each day, you'll be fine!

Most of us have abandoned adding "chat" to the beginning of our non-entries. Sometimes, I'll mix numbered entries and chat posts to space out my entries for the day!

THANKS ! ! !

AND YES - it is AWESOME (never thought I would use that word with how much it is used today - but yes awesome) . . . :D

Now if I could only get the physical parts of "My" Body to improve . . . the most important being the Peripheral Neuropathy, Leg/Feet Swelling, COPD, and also continue the weight lost (drop 50 lbs - would like to lose another 50) . . . :)

Last but not least would be becoming a Full-time Vapor and Quite Smoking Analogs Completely. . .

Now That would really make "My" Day . . .View attachment 173273
