Bought it from vaporbreak just like everyone else that is reporting having a gold spring.
Mine was most definitely not gold colored. It's steel-colored. It carried the heat really well, warmed up the bottom of the battery tube.. I took the bottom cap off to inspect it and that spring was HOT. Burned my finger!
I swapped it out with another spring, which works fine.. But it's not the best fit. I know someone posted compatibility with another mod spring.. Which was it? I need this spring back in my other PV!!
Also I just loaned out the VAMO the day I got it... LOL
Friend of mine dropped his PV and needed a backup. Oh well!
What does your tracking say? Hopefully it got thru customs. Are you in the USA? Yes, 19 days since it was shipped it should have been there by now or should be there this week for sure. I'd give it a few more days but don't let your paypal option expire.
Still stuck on the "acceptance" but according to the trace track website, it got on the slow boat on the 21. According to registered mail on vaporbreak, it can take 9-25 days so i figured if i give them another week, it doesnt make it here then ill open up a claim and still be within the 45 day limits. I just don't get why everybody that got it from like NY and FL basically the east coast, already got their and they shipped after me. Im in CA btw.
Hi Monk33, well I'm out west too in Idaho and the 3 orders I've had from them so far have been 18-20 days to my door after the order shipped. All this stuff comes in on the east coast, not the west coast so people in the east will generally get their orders sooner.

There's not a good excuse for Vapor Break sending out VAMOs with the steel springs. They are not safe. However, given their customer service is close to nonexistent, I'm not particularly surprised.
These springs are all the same and have been reported by several people, including me, as working well in their VAMOs. They are better quality than the new VAMO springs. You have to stretch out the bottom just a wee bit to make for a tight enough fit so the spring doesn't fall out when you change batteries.

I actually just had a conversation on their chat with a new person there that actually speaks pretty good english and didn't cut me off. Her name is Karen. I had ordered some cheap plastic veristacks ($16 a piece). Well I paid 11 days ago and no ship. I'd been leaving messages to cancel the order and get credit, no response. Talked to Min a few days before this on chat and when I asked him to cancel the order and give me credit he told me to just place another order, yah right, so when he knew there may be an issue or problem the chat just ended, hopefully just the language barrier. Well Karen told me the reason they hadn't shipped was they were out of the red ones and offered to send 2 black ones, I said no just give me a credit slip. She then said I could get my money back from paypal (what?). I told her I didn't want to open a dispute with paypal and to just give me a credit slip and I will order something else with the credit. So she finally said they would issue the credit sometime today, so we will see. My first bad with vaporbreak (maybe) this was my 4th time ordering. We'll see what happens.
I ordered a SS VAMO kit on 2/27 and used the China Post shipping. On 3/1 Min sent me a tracking number, which is still coming up "Not Found" on the 17track site. USPS doesn't find it either.
In the message that included the tracking number, he said "NOTE: We sometimes get reports that tracking does not work. This can happen right up until delivery if the post scanner miss the bar code." Has anyone had this happen before, where the tracking number never worked, but the package showed up? I wonder if maybe when it gets to the US it will start showing up on the USPS site?
I left a message on their web site. We'll see what happens.
I ordered a ss and a black vamo on 2/22. First it was back ordered for the black now they are telling me the ss is back ordered. I can't win for trying. Got a little more time before a place the dispute with PayPal. What we go through to save a few bucks.

I just got done chatting with "Karen" on the Vaporbreak site about my tracking number not working yet. She checked and said they made a mistake in the tracking number they sent me and gave me a new one. I plugged it into the USPS tracking page and it shows "acceptance" in China on March 2nd.![]()
