What speed mail is everyone using? I chose the fastest as I remember having issues in the past buying anything worth more than $5 using slow mail. I bought some DVD's a few years ago and they were lost in the rain in China and shipped to me many many many many many months later. Never have had issues with customs coming into Los Angeles.

I used China Post - or whatever the standard method was.

I used China Post instead of EMS, since I felt paying for EMS defeated the purpose of saving money ordering from VB. It was like $8 for China Post or $23 for EMS. Guess I'm going to regret that decision.

Just out of curiosity, the China Post packages you did receive in a timely fashion... was that still 2-3 weeks? Live in LA too (Near it), so just wondering.

Never that's why I chose EMS if that was the more expensive option. I placed an order of over $100 and figured I do not want to wait, hearing the stories on here as well as my own stories of taking forever plus forever using any normal post for overseas shipments. I am from Glendale and still live nearby too in Altadena.

In case anyone wants to see what a cluster ....... this was even for the fast shipping. Finally delivered on the 25th. I work from home and there was never a notice left or anything like that on the 25th.

Certainly a cluster you know what, but you got your items fast. Ordering $100 or more might be worth paying for the expidited shipping but for someone just wanting 1 vamo using this ship method defeats the purpose of getting a good deal as someone else mentioned. Hope you're happy with your order and everything is working as it should.

I shipped my with China Post and it got to me in Michigan 22 days later. I thought it was worth the wait.

I just want to thank you for mentioning that. Seriously. Before I ordered, I saw a few people in Michigan get their orders in like 9-10 days from shipment, and that was one of the reasons that I actually ordered with VB.

But I've been waiting 20 days from when mine shipped via China Post, and since yours took 22 days, maybe there's still hope for mine!

Really, the last thing I want to do is file a PP dispute. Don't want to deal with that at all.

Cheers! :vapor:

n4asdaq- You won't mind the wait once you get it all fired up! I started to get in a panic after day 20. I was checking the tracking daily, and I got no updates. It literally just showed up out of the blue one day.

Don't lose hope! I'm sure its very close!:toast:

I'm on my 16th day, your post gave me hope! Maybe next week it will finally arrive. I really need it to show up, as the last Ego Battery I have is starting to not hold a charge very well.

I may just order a couple of these to be sure I don't have to buy a pack of analogs.

Hello Kaywalsk. I would suggest that you invest in a passthrough ego battery. It's not the most convenient way to vape, if you're stuck to your power source with a cord. But, even if the battery stops holding a charge you can still use the device and power it with a usb cable. The usb cable can plug into the wall, your computer, or a car outlet. This way, you can always vape if you are near electricity. Of course, the other piece of advice is that you can never have enough back-ups. :) Good Luck.

Yeah, very true. :D I've been wary of this whole thing for at least a week now; almost in panic mode, tbh. Think it would be different had it not taken them 12 days to ship it out. But you've eased my frustration a bit; thanks.

I've read some other people experienced the same thing you described, where one day, it just shows up unannounced. I don't care if that happens, I just want it to get here! :)

That's what I'm using now, at least until my Vamo gets here. Bought the 1100mah eGo passthrough from HDV, anticipating having to charge it while driving or something, but it actually lasts the whole day, which is really cool. And if it ever stops lasting that long, I can just do what you said and use it while plugged in. It will make a great backup once my Vamo arrives! :)

TL;DR: I agree. The eGo passthrough is a great backup!

I can finally post in here but anyways.. People that have received theirs how is the battery and charger that come in the kit?
Some have posted in the past that the batteries in the kit are okay to get started. I purchased Efest batteries and the Xtar WPII charger from RTD Vapor once I received the Vamo. I have read warnings about the batteries that come in the kit, and most of the ECF battery vets recommend IMR batteries for mods. The IMRs are made of a safer chemical composition. Just something to think about, I wouldn't want a battery catastrophe happening near my face. FWIW, RTD ships extremely fast and they have great customer service...they immediately replaced one battery that I received that was defective.

So no VAMO in the mail yet, so I went to their website and saw that Karen was actually online. 12:20 PM CST.

I asked her if she knew more about the shipping than what the tracking sites were showing me, she said that it had left China on the 17th. That's 12 days in-transit. Does it really take this long to get over the ocean?
