Glad to hear you got some response! What time of day did you see him online? I've looked at several different times, and it always says "Away". I've sent several email form message, and no response. TIA

:smokie:

It was 10 minutes before midnight (EST) that I sent the chat message, and I got a response within minutes. Since they're 13 hours ahead of where I'm at, it was nearly 1pm their time. Oh, and when I started the chat (and throughout the entire chat) it still said Away. I've also left chats when it said Online, and received nothing.

Did you try using the "Contact" link at the very top of every page when logged in? For me, it had drop-down boxes for some fields, which shouldn't make a difference, but it is the only method of "email" that I got a response with.

Sorry if that doesn't work for you; I'm pretty sure that I just got really lucky. Best of luck for you and everyone else though!

Yep, tried the contact link, and also tried sending a chat message (even though it said "Away"). I'll keep trying though, thanks! :D

OK, so far so good. This thing is vaping like a champ! It has the new, gold spring. The threads look OK, but they're not the smoothest in the world. The only issue I have is someone touched the tube when the clear coat was still wet so there's a little spot where the clear isn't smooth and a partial fingerprint next to it. I don't care about that at all but some would probably not like that.

I'm enjoying my $35 purchase though!

Well Big-Dog, my bet is you won't wait very much longer.

I have a new update that I didn't get a chance to post Saturday. The postman valiantly tried to ring my bell at my humble abode yesterday to deliver the long coveted piece of electronic gear from China. I however was not there to answer....

So it looks like I'll be picking my SS Vamo from the Post Office on Monday.

It kinda shocked the hell out of me, but at the same time brought a feeling of relief that I didn't have to worry about disputes, and frustrations of not making contact with them. There still is no good excuse for the poor communication. None.

Now that I've got the tracking number from the card left at my door, I can see that my Vamo was accepted by China Post on Feb 20th, arrived in Bethpage, NY on Feb 28th, and departed on March 1st..and was at my doorstep on March 2nd. Just 15 days after ordering. Not bad at all.

If nothing else, maybe my experience here will help boost the confidence of others who are waiting. I really thought my order was overlooked somehow. Had I been notified, and been able to see progress, it would have been no big deal.

Well now I'll have two SS Vamo's, I guess that's not so bad, right? I'm happy this all turned out ok in the end. (at same time, I'm saying to myself...I hope it's not D.O.A).

My Vamo, which I received just this past Friday, is working great. I really like it.

I ordered mine with the 2 18350 batteries and the charger. I failed to pick the country for the charger and got the UK version. However, the charger itself has a US plug on it. The included UK adapter is to go from the US style charger and into a UK style wall plug. I probably will not use this charger. I have purchased a reputable charger, a Nitecore Intellicharger i2, along with 2 Efest IMR 18650 2000mAh LiMN Recharageable Batteries. I have tried all of the configurations on the Vamo - single 18350, stacked 18350's and 18650. All fit well and work as they should.

It is nice that these are starting to show up for those of us that have been waiting.

Yes! Glad to hear it, yes sometimes bad communication but Min is pretty swamped with orders and basically trying to do this whole operation on his own, I'm not even sure he speaks english and may be using some type of translator software. Anyway happy to hear you are about to get your Vamo, the SS I ordered from him is flawless and works like a charm. BTW I was just at the site and he is online but that doesn't guarantee you will get a response, 4 people ahead of me when I was there.

I failed to mention how surprised I was when I opened the package and the nice box inside said "eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV". I ordered a Vamo and thought that I was receiving something else. However, inside the "eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV" container was a Vamo. I could not find any mention of Vamo anywhere on the box, in the user manual, or on the Vamo itself. If I did not know that this was a Vamo I would have called it an eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV.

Well, mine arrived yesterday morning, just in time to sign for it as I left the house to go out of town (and unable to have it) until about 15 mins ago when I returned, what a sturdy piece of kit! might just order another whilst they are on sale, as on the return journey, managed to destroy one of my ego batteries by leaning on it and snapping the collar off the body, including severing the wires, and another vamo would cost (almost) the same as an ego!

Hetsa, glad to see you got your's yesterday! Looks like we have a tie on delivery time! :p

I agree, it does feel like a sturdy piece of kit. Some might not like the weight, but the heft and balance of the device feels quite nice, and gives a sense of quality. But I guess a piece of junkyard metal could feel the same, huh?:D Congrats again, hope you enjoy your new Vamo!

Hope you are enjoying your's too jigsaw! Especially after the mystery tracking lol! Agreed on the weight, its a hefty thing, but to my mind that makes it feel lovely! Trying to resist ordering another one....(but I would really like to try a box mod soon!)
