Mine's showing somewhere between China and US based on USPS website.
I expected a slow boat so I'm not worried about it!

Glad to hear you got some response! What time of day did you see him online? I've looked at several different times, and it always says "Away". I've sent several email form message, and no response. TIA

It was 10 minutes before midnight (EST) that I sent the chat message, and I got a response within minutes. Since they're 13 hours ahead of where I'm at, it was nearly 1pm their time. Oh, and when I started the chat (and throughout the entire chat) it still said Away. I've also left chats when it said Online, and received nothing.
Did you try using the "Contact" link at the very top of every page when logged in? For me, it had drop-down boxes for some fields, which shouldn't make a difference, but it is the only method of "email" that I got a response with.
Sorry if that doesn't work for you; I'm pretty sure that I just got really lucky. Best of luck for you and everyone else though!
Does status "transporting" mean that it is on the way to the US ?
like jigsaw, waiting and waiting, since the 18th feb.... contact mail with miss V...lol
time to viste Hongkong
Well Big-Dog, my bet is you won't wait very much longer.
I have a new update that I didn't get a chance to post Saturday. The postman valiantly tried to ring my bell at my humble abode yesterday to deliver the long coveted piece of electronic gear from China. I however was not there to answer....
So it looks like I'll be picking my SS Vamo from the Post Office on Monday.
It kinda shocked the hell out of me, but at the same time brought a feeling of relief that I didn't have to worry about disputes, and frustrations of not making contact with them. There still is no good excuse for the poor communication. None.
Now that I've got the tracking number from the card left at my door, I can see that my Vamo was accepted by China Post on Feb 20th, arrived in Bethpage, NY on Feb 28th, and departed on March 1st..and was at my doorstep on March 2nd. Just 15 days after ordering. Not bad at all.
If nothing else, maybe my experience here will help boost the confidence of others who are waiting. I really thought my order was overlooked somehow. Had I been notified, and been able to see progress, it would have been no big deal.
Well now I'll have two SS Vamo's, I guess that's not so bad, right? I'm happy this all turned out ok in the end. (at same time, I'm saying to myself...I hope it's not D.O.A).![]()
Well, mine arrived yesterday morning, just in time to sign for it as I left the house to go out of town (and unable to have it) until about 15 mins ago when I returned, what a sturdy piece of kit! might just order another whilst they are on sale, as on the return journey, managed to destroy one of my ego batteries by leaning on it and snapping the collar off the body, including severing the wires, and another vamo would cost (almost) the same as an ego!
Hetsa, glad to see you got your's yesterday! Looks like we have a tie on delivery time!
I agree, it does feel like a sturdy piece of kit. Some might not like the weight, but the heft and balance of the device feels quite nice, and gives a sense of quality. But I guess a piece of junkyard metal could feel the same, huh?Congrats again, hope you enjoy your new Vamo!
