oh man i'm so glad i found this thread.

I ordered a vamo ss along with a phoenix rba, i received order/payment confirmation 3/3, 10 days later on 3/13 it was apparently "shipped" and gave me a tracking number. I've been tracking the order trough several sites and it keeps telling me: March 16 Acceptance, CHINA PEOPLES REP and Origin Post is Preparing Shipment, Registered Mail™. It's been 23 days since order was placed.
got my batteries charged and can't wait :)

Haha. Okay, so maybe I didn't think of it that way! A status of opening could be argued as actually being opened by customs or something, but I guess here it's just a misconception (and/or bad translation). Sorry about that.

Anyway, so from your information, that means that my package has been in transit this whole time, huh? If that's the case, then I'll have to just wait some more. Go figure. :p

garyd, I've been ordering from China for years too, but I rarely ever have a tracking number. I just wait for it to show up. But the difference is that those other Chinese companies are actually reputable, I guess.

And as a semi-related side note, has anyone noticed that VB removed the Vamo kit from their website? Not a big deal, as most are just buying the body, but I wonder why they did that. Maybe in anticipation of a V3 kit??

Cheers! :vapor:

Hey, actually just got on the chat with Karen, told her my tracking # for my last order was not showing up/working for 13 days, she said wait, gave me the same no good tracking # and then signed off or offline immediately, well I'm not suprised. I can only hope paypal comes thru for me for my $50 for my last order if need be. Just saying if you order from them you take a risk much higher than ordering from a US vendor. If I don't get this order and considering the DOA vamo I received from them, they screwed me pretty good.

I have a friend that is going through exactly the same thing. Looks like the pkg was accepted in China but 6 weeks later and tracking still just shows accepted in China. VB pretty much told him the same, to file with PP. He asked for a new one to be sent and just gets the run around.

Question, how do those of you that had to file with PP get around the fact that it is an ecig product when filing the claim?

Karen is the same one that my friend has talked to. Same thing, she kept losing connection. Does not sound good. I will never order from them.

Well to be honest, I don't know that for a fact. I was told by a few people here, a few pages back, that when you track with a site that uses China Post, such as 17track, and it has a status of "opening" that Chinese customs are opening the package, and to expect a delay of a few to 7 days. I can't say with certainty that that's true, but it makes enough sense to me. I mean, what else could "opening" mean?

Additionally, when I contacted VB two days ago, Karen said that it was opened by customs, before I had mentioned anything like that to her. What likely happened was she just tracked my number, saw it was "opening" and just told me that. Again, just letting you and everyone else know what I know.

Karen also told my friend that his pkg was opened but tracking says no such thing. Supposedly his shipped on the 24th of February

yeah. i wouldnt worry to much.
i have had packages from china take as long as 60 days.
tracking will end once its been entered in their system and almost always resumed when the package arrived in BC.
do keep an eye on your days, you wont want to miss your window with paypal for filing a dispute.

p.s, sorry if i came across to strong with my earlier post.:)

the tobacco thing is only for americans.
overseas pp rules are different.
just file your claim, you will get your refund.:)

hehe. he has not hired any new staff.
its just a chinease game they play, "if we are simple girls, people will buy our lies and excuses without much of fight."
tell your friend to file pp, six weeks is 2 weeks to long.:)

We are Americans and can not file as ecig related or risk losing our account.

it dont matter, place of origin is china.
i have filed about 7 times now with various china vendors and i tell pp exactly what i am trying to do and what has happened, never was there a problem.
we wont loose our account anyway, just the sellers account will suspended.:)

Well, whoever it is communicates better than min or whomever I talked to in my early transactions with them. But one thing remains the same as before. When there is a problem they just sign off, now that's the great customer service from vaporbreak. I would just like to say to anyone that is thinking about ordering from them you are taking a big risk.

When I tracked my order a little bit ago it no longer said "opening". Instead it says they are preparing shipment.

Anyone know about how long after that status change it might take to get here?

Kaywalsk, what website are you using to track your package?

If I track with Sao.cn, I can get both USPS and China Post tracking at once. China Post gives me three results: "Departure from outward office of exchange", "Collection", and "Opening". USPS gives me one result: "Acceptance". See my attached image.

I'm just curious why yours would change, since nothing is supposed to happen until it reaches the US, or so I've heard.

I would suspect 2-3 weeks, just like to the states.
