ive used a vamo but like the looks of tesla. does anybody have both and can give a comparison

I have both units and they both hit the same. I would say within .2 of one another. I have pros and cons about both. The key that I have seen in either unit is that the Vamo/Bamboo can be broken down to be used as a mini as well as full size. The Tesla just looks so sweet if your into machining and metals. I love the way it feels in hand and where all of the buttons are located. Since they both had so many pros going for them I purchased both.
I have dropped the Vamo/Bamboo because of its smooth finish... it would slide out of my hand.
I have never dropped the Tesla because of grip.
Only real con on the Tesla for me is that I can't break it down to a mini.

I have a tesla. I don't have a vamo. The things I like about the tesla are the grippyness of it. I also love that the center post is spring loaded, no more pulling your post lol.
I acutally quite like the look, but I understand it's a love it or hate it kind of thing. The only thing I don't really care for is the buttons being above the screen. That's really the only dislike I have for it.

Both my wife and I have teslas, neither of them have had a problem with a sticking button. I have only had them for about a month now as with anything ymmv.

I have a vamo and none of the buttons have ever stuck on it. I like my vamo so much I'm buying another one next week to keep at work to replace my ego-v I have there now.

Vamo - can be used in 18350 or 18650 configurations. It's cheap.
Tesla - doesn't have useless mean mode so it's always in RMS as it should be (vamo sometimes resets to mean in my pocket). Also, the up and down buttons can be easily locked. Some people don't like the placement of the screen. It doesn't bother me. It has a spring loaded center post, which is nice, and means you won't have to deal with connection issues that sometimes come up with clearomizers.
Both devices offer VW and perform well.

i also have both either way you go they are both great i also have a provari so im not just comparing them to each other
I have a Vamo and my son has a Tesla. The buttons on the Tesla don't bother him at all. I'd say the Vamo with an 18650 battery is heavier than the Tesla by quite a bit but it's not so bad in shorty mode.

just used a tesla today, the button location about the screen didnt bother me at all, feels great in hand and works good. nice unit, doesnt produce anymore vap then my ego twiste but feels better in hand IMO. nice at home vap, the kid that brought it over carries everywhere with him.
im thinking about getting a vamo, price is nice and has good features. but thats only if Itaste doesnt release the the MVP with the ohm reader

I bought the tesla a few days ago and love it. I checked grimmgreens review and liked the spring loaded center post and safety features (also the look of it) I have not put it down since getting it. I use it right now with a CE5.
Don't have the Tesla but have seen at the vape shop, and frankly I love the look, but was a little disappointed with the heft. Light aircraft aluminum on the one I checked out and just seemed a little....I don't know...not for me. I like a little heftier mod....just a personal preference. The Vamo can be purchased in stainless steel, has the heft, has the variable tube configs for 650's and 350's, the V3 doesn't slide out of the hand, it does not have the Mean mode, just RMS, and you can get it with the rhinestones (wife loves) or without (husband loves). Vamo may be a little more for the money imho, though you cannot deny the Tesla is amazing looking, and I think they both use the same 33.3 chip, so there wont' be many functional differences. My

I like how the Tesla looks but I'm not a fan of the placement of the screen. Fingers cover the screen when making adjustments.
