Just get SS and wrap it imo, gunmetal will wear out idc how great it is when you use it to chain vape all day

Looks like I'll go with the SS version just to be sure. I don't like wraps but it's not a problem. I like the gun metal look (I carried a black chrome Zippo for over 15 years, that has a quality finish), but I like SS mods too because when they get all beat up and scratched it just gives them character
1st vamo and 18650s showed up on friday, got some 18350s from a different vendor that are scheduled for delivery next week. just to see what the size difference was, i tried to unscrew the extension, but it ain't budging. went through about 1/3 of the posts in this thread, but didn't see it mentioned. can anyone address this before i get the vice out?
Are you unscrewing at the correct point. Only the small bottom 1/3 comes off. Last segment. The segmentation in the middle is for show only and does not unscrew. Hold the Vamo in the middle and grasp the bottom 1/3 and unscrew to the counterclockwise.
was trying to remove the middle section...didn't try unscrewing the very bottom part that houses the spring.
There are 2 removable pieces. The bit with the spring (about 1/4" or less) and the extension tube (about 1.5" or so). The other "extension tube" is bolted on permanently.
Just to be 100% sure you are turning the right piece

Agreed. I guess they got tired of people complaining it slipped through their hands
It doesn't look as if it has the option for a long or short extension.
