I could agree if I knew what that meant. Is media blasted a Satin, Matt or Painted finish?

Typically, "media blasting" means sandblast, bead blast, soda blast. So I don't know if he's talking about a rough finish or maybe talking about the finish like the Provari - rhino lining or whatever they use.

Satin would probably be the closest description. Sand blasting would be too abrasive. Bead blasting would do well, as would other organic media: walnut shell, coal slag, medium grade crushed glass, etc. Soda blasting probably wouldn't provide enough texture to make it worthwhile. Then they could chrome plate or clear coat. Et voilà, no more 'slippy' mod.

I only use my vamos in 18350 mode, 18650 is just too long for me, so I won't be purchasing the V3.

I'm just the opposite. I hate changing batteries frequently, so I only use 18650s.

18650 for home use and 18350 out of the house. 18350 battery life is to short at home but the lightsaber mode (18650) is a bit to much on the go
